Abstract

PURPOSE:To uniformly coat a lubricating oil having a high viscosity to the surface of a wire rod to be drawn by passing the wire rod through a wire rod passage between wire rod guide rollers on both front and rear sides and passing the wire rod on an intermediate bobbin with brushes while slightly pressing the same to the bobbin. CONSTITUTION:Two sets of the wire rod guide rollers 3 each set consisting of a pair of the upper and lower rollers are provided on both the front and rear sides above a lubricating oil tank 1 in which the lubricating oil 2 having the high viscosity is filled. The bobbin 5 with brushes is constituted rotatable between the wire rod guide rollers 3 on both the front and rear sides while the lower part thereof is held immersed in the lubricating oil 2. The brushes 7 are implanted to face each other on the inner side between the flanges 5a on both sides and further, the bottom part of the flanges 5a is formed to the outside diameter slightly taller than the wire rod passed between the rollers 3. As a result, the lubricating oil having the high viscosity is coated uniformly on the surface of the wire rod to be drawn with good workability.

脱脂面に塗布したり、浸みらせて線材を軽く押さえなが
ら塗布していたので、作業性が悪いことはもとより均一
に塗布できず、線材とダイス間に安定して粘性の高い潤
滑油を供給できないという問題点があった。

てJ−1(商品名)が充填されている。3は線材4をガ
イドする線材ガイドローラで、潤滑油槽1の上側で前後
両側に夫々上下一対設けられている。5は前後両側の上
下一対の線材ガイドローラ3間で潤滑油2に一部浸漬し
て回転可能に槽壁に軸6にて支持されたプラスチック製
のブラシ付きボビンである。このブラシ付きボビン5は
、第2図に示す如く左右両側のフランジ5aが大径にな
されていて、そのフランジ5aの内側に相対向して耐油
性繊維より成るブラシ7が植設されている。このブラシ
7は7ランジ5aの外周に向かう程長くなされ且つ互い
違いに交差して潤滑油2を塗布し易くしてあり、ボヒ゛
ン本体5bの外周、つまり7ランジ5a間の底部が前後
両側のガイドローラ3間の線材通路よりも僅かに高い外
径になされている。

材4は図示せぬダイスに送り込まれるので、線材4とダ
イスとの間に安定して粘性の高い潤滑油2が供給される

ので、線材とダイス間に安定して粘性の高い潤滑油を供
給できる。従って伸線加工時線材にダイスとのかじりが
発生せず、ダイスが損傷したり、線材の表面にかぶりや
ささくれ、めくれが発生することがない。
