Abstract

PURPOSE:To give fishes an electrical stimulation to the extent of taking a avoiding action without any damages to intercept the migration of fishes certainly by specifying the product of an electric field strength of an electric screen and the length of intercepted fishes in case of the speed of running water being 0.1 to 1m/sec. in the direction of an entry prohibited area. CONSTITUTION:Two electrode rows 1a and 1b set up in parallel in the water being an entry prohibited area are formed so as to equally pace the respective bar conductive electrodes 2a, 2b, and an electric screen 5 having a specified field strength is formed between both electrode rows 1a, 1b. Then, in case that the speed of running water is 0.1 to 1m/sec in the direction of the entry prohibited area, the product of an electric field strength of the electric screen 5 and the length of intercepted fishes in set to be 1 or more to 2.5 or less. Thus, the fish bodies are given with an electrical stimulation to the extent of taking a avoiding action without any damages for certainly intercepting migration.

Traditionally, in hydroelectric power plants where the flow of a river is blocked by a dam and the dammed water is taken in through the water intake, if fish invade the water intake, the water intake line becomes clogged, causing damage to various parts of the hydropower plant. There is a risk that this could lead to abnormalities in the hydroelectric power plant equipment, causing all functions to stop.Furthermore, fish that have invaded the equipment will be released as lethal fish through drainage, so there is a fisheries compensation issue for river fish such as sweetfish. In order to prevent fish from entering the water intakes of such hydropower facilities, a net is placed near the water intake, and the net is used to prevent fish from entering the water intake area, which is a prohibited area. It is common practice to prevent fish from entering the area.

Clogging with debris and dead leaves is likely to occur, leading to a decrease in water intake, so if such clogging occurs, the debris must be removed by a semi-automatic garbage removal device or manually. The drawback is that it is time-consuming and requires a great deal of cost and effort for each maintenance inspection of the net.

However, in this case, even if the electric field strength is the same, the electrical stimulation received by the fish differs depending on the length of the fish's body. Moreover, in places where there is water flow at a predetermined speed, such as at the water intake of the hydroelectric power plant mentioned above, the flow rate of this water flow is The electrical stimulation that fish receive differs depending on the situation, so if the conditions are not set appropriately according to the flow velocity, etc., the electrical stimulation will be too strong and the fish will die, and conversely, the electrical stimulation will be too weak and the fish will not be able to swim properly. There is a problem in that it cannot be shut off.

That is, two electrode rows (Ia) and (Ib) are arranged in parallel in water, and a voltage is applied to the picture electrode rows (Ia) and (lb) to create the picture electrode rows (la) and (Ib). ), in which an electric screen (5) with a predetermined electric field strength is formed between them, and the electric screen blocks swimming of fish into a prohibited area, the present invention provides a method for blocking water flow in the direction of the prohibited area. When the flow velocity is 0.1 to 1 (m/Sec, l), the product of the electric field strength of the electric screen (5) and the body length of the fish to be blocked is 1 or more and 2.5 or less. It is characterized by making it happen.

As a puff meter to determine the electric field strength of the electric screen (5) between (1b), the product of the electric field strength (V/z) and the body length (picture) of the fish to be blocked is introduced. The flow rate of the water flow is 0.1 to 1 (m/see:)
When the above-mentioned product is 1 or more and 2.5 or less, an electric screen (5) is formed, and it is possible to provide electrical stimulation to fish such as sweetfish to the extent that they can prevent repellent behavior. As a result, swimming of fish is reliably blocked, and fish such as sweetfish are prevented from entering the prohibited area.

The product E-L of sweetfish body length L (3) is taken as a parameter,
When we experimentally investigated the reaction of the sweetfish when this product E-L was changed, we found that when the product E-L was less than 1 [v], the sweetfish did not react to the electric screen (5) and had a positive constant flow. When the product E-L is larger than 2.5 (V), Ayu loses swimming ability due to strong electrical stimulation, and the product E-L becomes 1 [73
The above results show that below 2.5 (V), sweetfish take repellent behavior and return to the upstream side.

Therefore, by forming an electric screen (5) in water such that the product of the electric field strength E of the electric screen (5) and the body length is E - L kI (V) or more and 2.5CV or less, the It is possible to reliably block the swimming of sweetfish without damaging the body of the fish.

Since the electric screen (5) was formed such that the product of the electric field strength of the electric screen (5) and the body length of the fish to be cut off, the sweetfish, was greater than + (V) and less than 2.5 (V), It is now possible to apply electrical stimulation to the extent that the fish can take repellent behavior without damaging the fish body, and it is possible to reliably block the swimming of the sweetfish, allowing it to be used at the water intake of a hydroelectric power plant, which is a prohibited area. It is possible to prevent sweetfish from entering the inside of the container.
