``Prior art'' As shown in Fig. 4, a conventional roof thatched roof is constructed by placing the left and right ends of flat arabesque tiles 1A (hereinafter simply referred to as flat arabesque tiles) close together for eaves, which are plate-shaped flat arabesque tiles 1A (hereinafter simply referred to as flat arabesque tiles) with a square concave upper surface. Crosspiece 5
A flat tile 1B1C in the form of a plate is arranged on top of the tile joint 6 to form an eave part, and is secured to the tile joint 6 by passing the wire through a wire hole provided at the rear, and having a similar rectangular concave surface on the rear half thereof. . . . are stacked one after another, approximately in half, and each is secured to a cedar bark presser 8' and installed on the roof. On the other hand, in the vicinity of the flat arabesque tiles 1A, there are semicylindrical eaves Tomoe tiles 2A with a semicircular cross section.
(hereinafter referred to as "Tomoe tile" at the end) is overturned, and similarly semi-cylindrical round tiles 2B2C... are successively connected to the rear end and installed above the roof. And Tomoe tiles 2
A peg 4 is inserted into the nail hole for every few tiles A and round tiles, and is driven and secured to the tile crosspiece 5 or the roofing board 8. In the figure, 7 is the roofing soil, 8' is the cedar bark presser, and 8'' is the cedar bark laid on the roofing board 8.

``Problem to be solved by the invention'' The conventional thatched roof structure described above is mainly used for large-scale and steeply sloped roofs of shrines and temples, etc. The stability of the tiles is an important point in maintaining the stability of the tiles on the entire roof. However, the pegs 4 that hold Tomoe tiles and Somaru tiles are structurally long nails, and only their tips are slightly driven in, and the structure supports the sliding load of a large number of Somaru tiles that are continuous behind them. Therefore, the locking force by the peg 4 is essentially not sufficient, and the Tomoe tile 2A
Misalignment often causes the entire round tile to collapse, leading to early damage to the roof, and there is also a problem in construction that the tile may be damaged by mistake when driving the pegs 4.

On the other hand, the flat arabesque tile 1A is tied to the tile connection 6,
The following flat tiles 1B1C... are mutually restrained by wires as necessary, but the wires are likely to loosen, break, or corrode and break, and in addition, like the bare round tiles, the sliding load of the following flat tiles is Each has a supporting structure, and the locking force is essentially not sufficient, so flat arabesque tiles 1A are used.
Because of their arrangement, they are easily misaligned, and when subjected to vertical movement due to earthquakes or strong winds, they easily float up, causing misalignment, and there is a danger that they may fall.
Therefore, misalignment of the flat arabesque tile 1A may cause the entire roof roof to shift or collapse, and according to the conventional structure described above, the locking force between the flat arabesque tile and the Tomoe tile is insufficient. As a result, early roof repair is required due to the roof tiles collapsing before the original durability limit of the roof tiles, requiring a large amount of repair costs, and there is also the problem that tiles may fall during typhoons and cause disasters. be.

The roofing structure of the present invention described above includes a first locking mechanism consisting of a locking groove 10 and a locking protrusion 11, and a locking ridge 1.
4, a second locking mechanism consisting of a locking pawl 15, and a third locking mechanism comprising a locking portion 16 having a hook-shaped pawl that engages with a locking groove 19 of the tile beam 5. Since it has a locking mechanism, these three locking mechanisms form an organic bond that cooperates with each other, and act synergistically to stabilize the posture of the group of eaves tiles in three axial directions.

That is, the above-mentioned first locking mechanism has a structure in which the eaves arabesque tile 2A, which has both legs fixed, is linked and fixed to the adjacent flat arabesque tile 1A for the eaves, and the two are integrated to move left, right, front and back. The combined posture of the direction is locked.
The second locking mechanism applies the load of the continuous round tiles 2A2B... to the continuous flat tiles 1B1C...
This flat tile 1B1 reduces the burden of the cutting-edge flat arabesque tile 1A for eaves by distributing it to the front and back, and also has the tendency to slide forward individually due to the front and back abutment of the locking ridges 14.
C... Locks and stabilizes the continuous arrangement posture of the group, assists and promotes the stabilization of the action of the first locking mechanism, and further,
The third locking mechanism prevents the flat arabesque tile 1A for eaves from being lifted up due to wind pressure, earthquakes, etc., and also allows the tile beam 5 to carry the enormous load on the flat arabesque tile 1A, thereby reducing the load itself. This has the effect of reducing the amount of the locking mechanism and replenishing the deficiency of the first locking mechanism.

Therefore, the three locking mechanisms described above work together, and even if any one of them is missing, the tile at the eaves will still be unstable, and each alone will not be sufficient to stabilize the posture of the eaves tiles. However, the three-fold locking mechanism acts synergistically to sufficiently stabilize the roofing position of the tiles on the entire roof, including the roofing position of the eaves tiles.
