Abstract

PURPOSE:To collect smoke, odor, and floating dust by fitting a ventilating fan on a lighting fixture, and utilizing a shade as a hood. CONSTITUTION:A hole in a size corresponding to a fan 9 is provided in the top middle of a shade 1 for lighting fixture, and an assembly consisting of a motor 7, fan cover 8, and fan 9 is fitted to this shade 1 in its opening. Because the two are directly coupled, the fan 9 is rotated by the motor 7 so as to such the air from the shade 1, and thus the air passes by a fluorescent bulb 2 and a supporting metal piece 4 and is sucked by the fan 9 and sent to an exhaust hole 10. Thus smoke, vapor, floating oil and dust are attracted forcedly together with the air around them and exhausted because of utilization of the shade 1 as a hood for ventilating fan.
