本発明は椅子、枕等の芯として用いられるクツ

この種のクツシヨン材は従来、合成樹脂弾性発
泡体、合成樹脂弾性発泡体小片の集合体あるいは
繊維集合体等からなるものであつた。しかし合成

集合体は軽く、永久歪の残存しにくい点では利点
を有するが初期硬度(応力−歪曲線の初期の立上
り)が大きいから風合が硬くなじみにくい感じを
与えるし、シヤープな形状や凹凸形状の成形が出
来にくい。一方繊維集合体は初期硬度が小さいか
ら風合が柔くなじみ易い感じを与えかつシヤープ
な形状や凹凸形状の成形は容易であるが、重量大
でかつ永久歪が残存しいわゆるへたり現象が生じ

エチレン−プロピレンゴム等の一般的なゴムを含
むものである。上記合成樹脂結着剤は有機溶剤溶
液、水溶液、エマルジヨン(ラテツクス)等の形

易に成形される。そして該成形物は初期硬度が比
較的小さく風合の柔軟ななじみ易いものとなるが
永久歪は残りにくくへたりが生じにくい。更に重
量は繊維単独のものと比較すると可成り軽くなり
