Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject cut foil, capable of eliminating problems of creases with about the same touch thereof as that of woven fabrics and useful as a decorative or pattern displaying yarns by impregnating a fabric with a heat-fusible resin, laminating a thin decorative layer thereto by thermal fusion and slitting the resultant laminate. CONSTITUTION:The objective cut foil obtained by impregnating a fabric 1 with a heat-fusible resin 2, laminating the impregnated fabric to a thin decorative layer 3 by thermal fusion of the resin 1 and slitting the resultant laminate. The decorative layers 3 are preferably laminated to the front and back sides of the fabric 1 and the decorative layer is further formed by transfer of a transfer film of stamping foil.

Conventional technology and its problems Recently, as a cut foil to replace Zen-kiri foil or Gin-kiri foil, a base material made of washi paper is subjected to a base treatment, then metal vapor deposition is applied, and a protective plastic film layer is placed on top of the base material. Cut foil obtained by slitting the formed material became widely used. However, this traditional cut foil is
Because it has a composite layer structure of Japanese paper and plastic film,
There was a problem that wrinkles were likely to occur after the fabric was woven into fabric. Moreover, it is extremely difficult to remove the wrinkles from cut foil that has wrinkles in the fabric. Wrinkles are especially likely to occur (and become a problem) in the case of Japanese kimono obi.

In this specification, "stamping foil" refers to a transfer film, such as vacuum deposition, printing, etc., on a base material layer such as a heat-infusible plastic film via a release agent layer, including the description in the claims section. The transfer film is transferred by heat fusing with a resin impregnated into the cloth under heat and pressure. The transfer film does not need to be coated with a hot melt adhesive.

Function In the present invention, as described above, a cloth is used as a base material on which a decorative layer is laminated or formed, and a decorative layer is laminated by heat-sealing with a heat-fusible resin impregnated with cloth. Since the cut foil is made by slitting, the decorative layer is thin, and the cut foil of the present invention, which is woven into fabric as a cut foil or economical, is less likely to wrinkle, unlike cut foil with a composite layer structure of Japanese paper and plastic film. Moreover, even if wrinkles occur, they can be easily removed by ironing or using a pressing cloth. Therefore, when the cut foil of the present invention is used for fabrics for Japanese clothing obi, the properties of being resistant to wrinkles and easily erasable even if wrinkles are formed are more effectively utilized.

In addition, in the present invention, the fact that the resin impregnated into the cloth as a base material is a heat-fusible resin does not destroy the very favorable feel of the cloth as a cut foil base material, and therefore the feel of the cut foil is also improved from the fabric. The result is a good one, almost the same as that of .

Effects of the Invention As described above, according to the present invention, the problem of wrinkles can be solved by cutting foil woven into textiles, and the feel of the cutting foil can be made to be almost as good as that of textiles.
