Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate a terminal treatment of a metallic meshed tube and enhance reliability, by providing a terminal pipe having a stopper for abutment on an end part of the metallic meshed tube, between the tube and an insulator sheath of a heater. CONSTITUTION:A terminal pipe 7 provided with a stopper 8 by protruding a cylindrical ring into a circular disk form by press working is provided at an end part of a metallic meshed tube 2 in the state of being inserted between an insulator tube 4 and the tube 2. After the terminal pipe 7 is inserted until the stopper 8 abuts on an end face of the tube 2, a fixing cover 3 formed of a highly shrinkable material is so fixed as to cover entirely an end part of the tube 2 and the part of the stopper 8. Thus, a terminal treatment of the tube 2 can be facilitated, and a manufacturing step for preventing fibers at the end part of the tube from entering into an insulator of a heater can be simplified. In addition, mechanical positioning can be performed by use of the terminal pipe 7 provided with the stopper 8, and the reliability of a cord heater completed can be enhanced.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Field of Application] The present invention relates to a cord-type heater for an air conditioner V'i, especially gold I! The present invention relates to a shape suitable for terminal treatment of a cord type heater equipped with a mesh tape made of 4-mesh tape.

Conventional finishing treatment for metal mesh tubes involves controlling the manufacturing process to ensure that the mesh of the metal mesh tube does not fray, or wrapping aluminum tape around an insulator overnight, and then wrapping the mesh around the insulator.
After moving the aluminum tape wound into a cylindrical shape to position it between the tape and the insulator, the outer periphery of the metal mesh tube was further pressed and fixed with another adhesive-coated aluminum tape. Alternatively, the ends of the metal mesh tape were molded and fixed using a rubber material or the like.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) In the above-mentioned prior art, when mode treatment is performed using a rubber material, the fraying of the frayed ends of the metal mesh tube is left to the manufacturing control, and It was unclear what state the wire would be in when the molding process was completed. For this reason, the wire at the end of the metal mesh tube penetrated the heater insulator made of soft vinyl chloride, etc., and was connected to the heating resistor. There was a risk of electrical leakage due to contact with the wires. Also, to prevent this, a cylindrical piece wrapped with aluminum tape was inserted between the heater insulator and the metal mesh tube, but the metal Since the metal mesh tube is a hard material, it is very difficult to wrap aluminum tape and insert it into the end of the metal mesh tube. Also, since it is a cord type heater, it is often used by bending the aluminum tape. It is difficult to hold the aluminum tape at the end of the metal mesh tube. Also, it takes a lot of effort to manage and inspect the positioning of the cylindrical aluminum tape inserted into the heater insulator and the inner part of the metal mesh tube. The cost was high because the work required man-hours and money.

The purpose of the present invention is to facilitate the finishing process of metal mesh tubes, process them structurally so that the wires at the ends of the metal mesh tubes do not enter the heater insulator, and improve reliability through manual manufacturing control. It is to abolish retention.

The above purpose is to create a metal mesh tube made of a material (metal or hard resin) that is strong enough to prevent the wire from being inserted into the metal mesh tube, to have a stopper on the end face of the tube, and to be able to bend the metal mesh tube by bending the cord heater. This is achieved by inserting a terminal tube with a longer insertion distance between the metal mesh tube and the heater insulator.

Insert the anti-stopper side of the terminal tube with a stopper that is strong enough to prevent the wire from passing through the metal mesh tube between the heater insulator and the metal mesh tube until the end surface of the metal mesh tape touches the stopper of the terminal tube. It is. Therefore, even if fraying occurs on the end face of the metal mesh tube, the wires may turn outward or bend inward, and even if light leakage from the wires hits the tube wall of the terminal tube, the heater insulator Since the bare wires do not come into contact with the wires, there is no risk of electrical leakage.

Inside the heater insulator 1, there is a Tetron cover around the outer periphery of the heating resistance wire wrapped around the heater core in the center, and a metal mesh on the outermost periphery to prevent damage to the insulator 1. A tube 2 is provided. FIG. 2 shows a structural sectional view of the end of the metal mesh tube. At the end of the metal mesh tube 2, a terminal tube 7 having a stopper 8 formed by protruding a cylindrical ring into a disc shape by pressing is inserted between the insulating tube and the metal mesh tube, and After inserting the terminal tube until the stopper 8 and the end face of the metal mesh tube 2 touch, it is fixed in a position that covers the entire end of the metal mesh tube 2 and the stopper part using the fixed cover 3 made of a highly contractible material. It is. The inner diameter of the terminal tube I is designed to be slightly larger than the outer diameter of the insulator 1 at the highest temperature when the heater is energized, and has an inner diameter that allows it to move smoothly around the outer shell of the insulator 1 when assembling the corded heater. .

According to the present invention, the manufacturing process for preventing the wires at the ends of the metal mesh tubes from entering the heater insulator can be simplified, resulting in lower cyst costs. In addition, since the terminal tube is equipped with a strobe bar, it can be positioned mechanically, which has the effect of increasing the reliability of the completed cord heater.
