This piezoelectric material is partially exposed from the inner surface of the denture base. Therefore, this piezoelectric material is in close contact with the mucous membrane of the alveolus. Therefore, the electromotive force from the piezoelectric material acts on the mucous membrane and the alveolar bone covered by the mucous membrane. This will strengthen the alveolar bone and prevent the alveolar bone from becoming thin and declining. Therefore, in this specification, the exposure refers to exposure in the sense that the electromotive force from the piezoelectric material directly acts on the mucous membrane, and includes, for example, cases where the membrane is coated with a conductive material.

When the prosthesis @1 was fitted, the alveolar bone 6 did not deteriorate at all even after 3 months, and the alveolar bone crest 6a was slightly strengthened. On the other hand, when conventional dentures without piezoelectric materials 8, 9, and 10 were used, the alveolar bone crest 6a had receded by about 1 mm after 3 months.
