As is well known, the socket body has a socket hole formed in the front part, a cable insertion hole for compressing and fixing the cable in the rear part, a plug to be inserted into the socket hole formed in the front part, and a socket body in the rear part. The plug body has a cable insertion hole formed therein for compressing and fixing the cable, and the plug is inserted into the socket hole on either the inner peripheral surface of the socket hole of the socket body or the outer peripheral surface of the plug body of the plug body. A contact piece is provided around the plug body to resiliently contact the inner circumferential surface of the socket hole and the outer circumferential surface of the plug when the socket is opened, and the contact piece is screwed into the plug body with a screw carved on the front circumferential surface of the socket body. A connector with a locking nut is in practical use. In this case, the contact piece used in the prior art is a protruding ring provided on the outer peripheral surface of the plug, as seen in Utility Model Application No. 127380/1983.

In this type of connector, it is desired that so-called contact resistance be reduced in order to improve electrical conductivity between the cylindrical plug and the cylindrical socket hole. That is, it is desired to reduce two factors: film resistance due to films of moisture, gas, oxides, etc. formed on metal surfaces, and concentrated resistance due to current concentration.

From this point of view, if we look at the contact pieces of conventional protruding rings, the entire circumferential surface is in contact, so at first glance it seems that the concentrated resistance is small, but it is rare that virtually all of the surfaces of the ring are in contact. and
On the contrary, partial contact would result in locally concentrated resistance, and the reality is that the contact pressure cannot be increased due to the need to reduce the insertion/removal force with respect to the film resistance. Film resistance exists. Therefore, there is a certain limit to how much the contact resistance can be reduced and the current conduction characteristics can be improved.
In terms of phenomena, it is required to further prevent the generation of Joule heat at the contact portion.

The present invention was developed in view of these points, and its purpose is to reduce the force required to insert and remove the plug into the socket hole, and to reduce the film resistance of the contact resistance in order to particularly improve conductivity. It is an object of the present invention to provide a connector which is smaller in size and can prevent locally large concentrated resistance from occurring.

When the plug 6 is inserted into the socket hole 2, either the inner circumferential surface 9 of the socket hole 2 of the socket body 1 or the plug outer circumferential surface 6 of the plug body 5 has an inner circumferential surface 9 of the socket hole 2. A contact piece 11 is provided around the plug 6 to elastically contact the outer circumferential surface 10 of the plug 6 to maintain good contact at all times. In this example, an example is shown where it is provided on the inner circumferential surface 9 of the socket hole 2. That is, the contact piece 11 is an annular band in which a plurality of blades 13 are placed horizontally at a constant interval between one frame 12 and the other frame 12, which are arranged with a predetermined width as shown in FIG. It is made entirely of beryllium copper and has 13 individual blades.
is arranged at an angle of, for example, about 15° to 14° with respect to the frame 12, as shown in FIG. 7, and is provided with spring properties. To install this around the inner peripheral surface 9 of the socket hole, a shallow groove 14 is formed in the inner peripheral surface 9,
It fits there in an annular manner. When fitting, as shown in the illustrated example, it is possible to simply fit and maintain the fitted state by the springiness of the contact piece 11 itself, or separate springs may be used to connect both frames 1.
2 and 12, and the fitted state may be maintained by the elasticity of the spring. Also contact piece 1
The number of 1 itself can be selectively applied as singular or plural depending on the overall size of the connector.

Based on such a configuration, an example of connecting the cables 3 and 7 on one side and the other side will be explained. First, the cable 3 is inserted into the cable insertion hole 4 of the socket body 1, and the socket hole 4 is compressed from the outside to compress and fix the cable 3. On the other hand, insert the cable 7 into the cable insertion hole 8 of the plug body 5,
Compress and fix in the same way. Next, the plug 6 of the plug body 5 is inserted into the socket hole 2 of the socket body 1, and then the lock nut 16 is screwed onto the screw 15 to lock the connection, thereby completing the connection.

When connected in this manner, the plug 6 and the socket hole 2 are brought into close contact via the contact piece 11. That is, the individual blades 13 of the contact piece 11 are arranged at a predetermined angle and have a spring property, so that the blades are attached to the outer circumferential surface 10 of the plug and the inner circumferential surface 9 of the socket hole, as shown in FIG. The tips are in contact with each other with a contact pressure F. Therefore, the contact piece 11 comes into close contact with the plug outer peripheral surface 10 and the socket hole inner peripheral surface 9,
Between the tip of each blade 13 and the inner peripheral surface 9 of the socket hole,
And there is almost no film resistance between the tip of each blade 13 and the plug outer peripheral surface 10. Furthermore, since the plurality of blades 13 are arranged in a ring shape at predetermined intervals, there is no possibility that only some of the contact portions will come into local contact and cause concentrated resistance. Therefore, as a result, plug 6 and socket hole 2
The contactability is always maintained well, and the current flows as shown by arrow I.

Therefore, the current-carrying performance is maintained well at all times, and stable current-carrying can be performed. Furthermore, since the contact resistance of the contact portion is reduced, generation of Joule heat is suppressed, and heat generation of the connector can be suppressed as much as possible. Also, even if the plug 6 and the socket hole 2 both expand and contract in response to changes in ambient temperature, the contact piece 1
Since the plug 1 has elasticity, the expansion and contraction can be effectively absorbed, and the mutual contact between the plug 6 and the socket hole 2 can be maintained as well as described above. Furthermore, sliding and rotational connections can be easily made.

As detailed above, according to the present invention, the contact piece 11 has a plurality of blades 13 placed horizontally at a constant interval between one frame 12 and the other frame 12, which are arranged with a predetermined width. Each of these individual blades 13 has an angle of about 15° to 14° with respect to the frames 12, 12 on the other hand, and has spring properties, and the contact piece 11 is entirely formed in an annular shape. , is provided in an annular manner around either the inner circumferential surface of the socket hole 2 of the socket body 1 or the outer circumferential surface of the plug of the plug body 5, which not only reduces the force required to insert and remove the plug into the socket hole, but also prevents contact. It has the advantage that the film resistance of the resistor can be reduced and the occurrence of locally large concentrated resistance can be prevented, so the contact resistance is reduced, current conductivity is improved, and local generation of Joule heat can be prevented.
