For example, one of these types of electronic components is a so-called jack with a switch, which is a jack for connecting plugs for earphones, microphones, etc., and is equipped with a changeover switch that switches when the plug is inserted or removed. However, in the past, this type of changeover switch part was constructed with a slide switch, and a slider corresponding to the sliding part of this slide switch was engaged with the tip of the jack contact piece, and the plug was inserted and removed by the plug. The switching operation was made possible by sliding the slider.

However, this type of changeover switch is subject to dimensional constraints on the clip that is held on the slider side and constitutes the connector, and the changeover terminal section that is held by this clip to perform switching operations, which is one of the factors that prevents thinning. I was getting older.

In addition, the above-mentioned switching terminal section was manufactured by arranging the terminal sections on a single insulating board separate from the casing that houses the switch section, but as the number of parts increases, the number of assembly steps also increases. etc., was also an impediment to cost reduction.

In addition, jacks or changeover switches used in such thin electronic devices are often mounted directly on printed circuit boards due to dimensional constraints, and the terminals that make up the changeover switch are also attached to the bottom of the housing. Because it protrudes from the side, when it is attached to a printed circuit board by soldering, etc., there is a risk of flux entering the housing through the terminals, which may cause poor contact with the switch. That is, the switch of the present invention includes a casing that has an upper opening and whose bottom wall is closely attached to a printed circuit board, a lid that closes the upper opening of the casing, and a casing that has an upper opening. The apparatus includes a housing jack part and a changeover switch part that switches in conjunction with the insertion and removal of a plug into the jack part, and a terminal part protruding from a contact piece of the jack part projects outward from the bottom wall part. At the same time, a recess provided around the terminal on the outside of the bottom wall forms a gap that prevents flux from rising along the terminal. It is held by a fixed side contact part that is integrally provided in a flush state and a brush holder that is slidably housed in the housing.
and a sliding brush that moves toward and away from the fixed side contact portion, and the terminal portion connected to the fixed side contact portion extends along the side wall portion of the casing and is not in contact with the side wall portion. In addition to being bent down, a cavity is formed in the corner of the side wall and bottom wall of the casing facing the terminal to prevent flux from rising along the terminal. Furthermore, since the lid portion 23 closes the upper opening 1a of the housing 1, the fixed side contact portion 24 provided integrally with the lid portion 23 is always connected to the housing 1.
Each terminal section 32, which is located in the upper part and is integrally connected to the fixed side contact section 24, is bent down along the side wall section 1f of the housing 1 without contacting the side wall section 1f. There is no risk of flux entering the housing 1 through the terminal portions 32 when it is attached to a printed circuit board or the like by soldering, and causes of failures such as poor contact can be eliminated.

In addition, in this embodiment, recesses 33 are provided at the corners of the side wall 1f and bottom wall 1e of the housing 1 through which the terminals 32 pass, and the jack contact pieces 5, 8 and breakers are provided in the jack 2 as well. Contact piece 7,1
Since the recessed parts 11, 11 are provided in the bottom wall part 1e from which the terminal parts 5d, 8d, 7b, 10b of 0 protrude, gaps 12, 34... are formed between them and the printed circuit board, and the upward flow of flux is can be more effectively prevented.

Although the switch of the present invention has the bottom wall of the housing closely attached to the printed circuit board, it can prevent flux from rising through the terminals of the jack and switch. Therefore, even if the switching device is thin, intrusion of flux into the housing is prevented, and it becomes possible to provide a highly reliable thin switching device.

That is, regarding the terminal portion of the jack portion, since there is a gap formed by the recess provided in the bottom wall portion of the casing around the terminal portion, it is difficult for flux to rise along the terminal portion. In addition, the terminal portion of the changeover switch portion is bent down along the side wall portion of the housing without contacting the side wall portion, and moreover, the terminal portion of the switch portion is bent down at the corner between the side wall portion and the bottom wall portion of the housing opposite to this terminal portion. Since there is a void formed by the recess, flux is difficult to rise along the terminal. Further, the fact that the terminal portion is bent down without contacting the side wall portion of the casing makes it even more difficult for flux to rise. In addition, since the terminal part extends from the fixed side contact part of the lid part, its length is inevitably longer than if it were to protrude from the housing, which causes the above-mentioned effects and In other words, the effect of preventing flux from rising due to the void, and the effect of the terminal being bent down without contacting the side wall of the casing to suppress the rise of flux, make it difficult for flux to enter the changeover switch section. Therefore, there is almost no possibility that flux entering the changeover switch will cause problems such as poor contact in the changeover switch.

Furthermore, according to the present invention, since the fixed side contact part of the changeover switch part is integrally provided flush with the lid part, the fixed side contact part is provided in the internal space surrounded by the casing and the lid part. There is no need to secure any storage space, which makes it easier to reduce the thickness.

[Scope of Claim for Utility Model Registration] A casing having an upper opening and whose bottom wall is closely attached to a printed circuit board, a lid that closes the upper opening of the casing, and a housing that is housed in the casing. and a change-over switch part that operates in conjunction with the insertion and removal of the plug into and from the jack part, and a terminal part protruding from the contact piece of the jack part protrudes outward from the bottom wall part. At the same time, a recessed portion provided around the terminal portion on the outside of the bottom wall portion forms a gap portion that prevents flux from rising along the terminal portion. It has a fixed side contact part that is integrally provided in one state, and a sliding brush that is held in a brush holder that is slidably housed in the housing and that is moved toward and away from the fixed side contact part. The terminal part connected to the fixed side contact part is bent down along the side wall part of the housing without contacting the side wall part, and the side wall part and bottom of the housing opposite to this terminal part are bent down. 1. A switching device characterized in that a recessed portion provided at a corner with a wall portion forms a gap portion that prevents flux from rising along the terminal portion.
