Therefore, when fishing by boat, granulation is performed without adjusting the amount of feed fed to the pellet mill and the amount of steam according to the blending ratio during pellet production. This adjustment is mainly done based on the experience of the operator. Therefore,
When using special raw materials or producing special pellets, for example pellets with a large diameter, this becomes difficult and requires the use of a binder.

The amount of high molecular weight polymer added is small (for example, 0.02 to 0.

The effect becomes unstable. Also, since it is not a natural product, it is often unsuitable as feed.

The safety of lignin sulfonate for animals has not yet been confirmed in Japan. Since bentonite requires the presence of a large amount of water during processing, the resulting pellets have a high water content, which can lead to the generation of microorganisms and problems in terms of product quality. Molasses also suffers from high moisture problems.

Gelatin often has a characteristic odor that makes it less palatable to animals. Furthermore, these binders tend to increase cost and reduce the nutritional value of the pellets.

Lupine seeds are leguminous grass seeds with a high protein content and are used as a common feed material in Europe, for example, in a proportion of 10 to 30% by weight in compound feeds. From this point of view, it is clear that lupine seeds are palatable to animals and are not toxic. or,

If the binder of the present invention is used in combination with molasses and dextrin, it is possible to reduce the amount of molasses used, increase the hardness of the pellets, and obtain pellets with a low pulverization rate. For the pelletized feed to which the binder of the present invention is added, feed raw materials conventionally used in the form of pellets can be used. Examples include combinations of coarsely ground corn, coarsely ground barley, coarsely ground milo, wheat flour, bran, soybean meal, rapeseed meal, calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate, salt, and vitamin mixtures. However, it is not limited to these.

Lupine seeds used as a binder in the present invention are rich in protein and calories, so they do not reduce the nutritional content of the resulting pellets. Furthermore, since it has traditionally been used as an ingredient in feed, it does not cause any harmful side effects. Further, when pellets for feed are produced using the binder of the present invention, pellets with appropriate hardness can be obtained, so that feed with excellent palatability can be obtained. Furthermore, since it is possible to prevent the water content in the feed pellets from increasing, it is also possible to reduce the risk of mold growth in the obtained pellets.
