Abstract

PURPOSE:To lower a noise by providing a sound-insulating member to be higher than a gap height between a main body and an installing surface and, simultaneously, to be elastic in a condition to close the opening surface of a main body bottom surface, to the installing surface of a water-proof pan to install the main body and causing it to abut onto the main body bottom part. CONSTITUTION:Legs 5 are provided to a main body 3, the main body 3 is installed on a water-proof pan 2, and the gap is formed between the main body 3 and pan 2. On the installing surface of the water-proof pan 2, a sound- insulating member 9 to be elastic and to be made of a softening material (for example, a foaming urethane) is jointed. The sound-insulating member 9 is arranged so as to be higher than the height between the main body 3 and installing surface and to close the opening part of the main body 3 bottom part from all directions. By such a constitution, at the time of installing the main body, the sound-insulating member 9 is press-contacted by the flange surface of the main body 3, the gap between the main body 3 and installing surface can be eliminated, and the noise inside the main body can be insulated.

This is because, as a result of studies conducted by the inventors, the transmission path for the noise generated during the dehydration and washing processes of the washing machine is that the motor noise, etc. generated inside the main unit passes from the opening 4 at the bottom of the main unit to the gap 6, and the noise is transmitted through the arrow a. It was found that the leakage path has the greatest impact on noise, but conventional washing machines did not take this into account and were unable to reduce noise from washing machines. O The present invention is intended to solve the above-mentioned conventional problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a sound insulation device for a washing machine that can reduce the noise level during washing, dehydration, etc.

FIG. 1 is a sectional view of a washing machine according to a first embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the main parts thereof. In the figure, 1 is the floor surface, 2 is the waterproof pan, 2' is the peripheral wall of the waterproof pan, and 3
is the main body of the washing machine, 4 is the opening at the bottom of the main body, 5 is the leg of the main body of the washing machine, 6 is the gap, 2 is the washing tank, 8 is the washing and dewatering tank, 9 is the stirring blade, and the above is the conventional example. Since it is the same as the member, detailed explanation will be omitted. Reference numeral 10 denotes a stretchable sound insulating member made of a flexible material (for example, urethane foam, etc.), which is joined to the installation surface of the waterproof pan 2, and the upper end of the sound insulating member 10 comes into contact with the flange surface 11 at the bottom of the main body during installation. It looks like this. That is, the sound insulating member 1° is higher than the height of the gap between the main body 3 and the installation surface, and its shape is taken into consideration so that the opening 4 at the bottom of the main body is closed when the main body is installed.

By providing the sound insulating member 10 on the side of the waterproof pan 2 in this way, it is possible to reduce noise, and there is no need to change the design of the main body 3 itself. A certain amount of clearance can be provided for fitting with the other parts, making it highly suitable for mass production and highly practical.

FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of a washing machine according to a second embodiment [0] of the present invention, and FIG. 4 is a perspective view of the same essential parts. In the figures, the members are the same as those of the first embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 to 5 and FIGS. 1 and 2, so their explanation will be omitted. Reference numeral 12 denotes a noise member, which is made of a resin material such as polypropylene and is molded into a bellows shape so that it can be expanded and contracted. One end is joined to the waterproof pan 2, and the other end has a flange surface 13 on the waterproof pan side. is provided, and when the main body 3 is installed on the waterproof pan 2, it comes into contact with the flange surface 11 at the bottom of the main body. This sound insulation member 12 is also similar to the sound insulation member 7 of the previous embodiment.
It has a shape and configuration that is higher than the gap height and closes the opening 4.

With the above configuration, the same effect as in the first embodiment can be obtained, and even if the material is a flexible material, elasticity can be added to the sound insulation member 12. The waterproof pan side flange surface 13 contacts the flange surface 8 of the main body 3, and the sound insulation member 12 prevents internal sounds such as motor noise generated during washing or dehydration from propagating in the direction of arrow C. can do.

For example, if a bellows-like protrusion is formed into a rectangular shape as in the first embodiment, the flange surface 13 may be omitted. Also, as can be said for both examples,
The sound insulation members 7 and 12 do not need to be connected all the way around. That is, if there is a gap in a part, noise reduction will be affected accordingly, but compared to a structure without a sound insulating member, the effect can be expected to be sufficient.

7. Effects of the Invention As described above, the present invention provides a sound insulating member that is higher than the height of the gap between the main body of the washing machine and the installation surface of the waterproof pan and is expandable and retractable in a state in which the opening at the bottom of the main body is closed. By bringing the upper end of this sound insulating member into contact with the bottom of the main body of the washing machine, the sound inside the main body generated from one driving part such as the motor during washing or spin-drying is insulated, thereby significantly reducing the sound insulation level. Can be done.

In addition, since only a sound insulating member is provided on the waterproof pan, there are few components required for the construction, and it is easy to handle and mass-produced, and its practical effects are great.
