Further, the second contact piece 4a is made of an elastic member and is curved into a substantially R-shape, and the tip thereof is normally in elastic contact with the lower surface of the first contact piece 3a, and the plug is inserted through the fixed terminal 7. When the plug is turned, it is pressed by the tip of the plug and is separated from the first contact piece 3a. On the other hand, the other end of the second contact piece 4a, that is, the current-carrying terminal 4 faces downward from the open lower surface of the jack housing 6. The second contact piece 4a and the housing 6 are fixed by moving a wide portion 4b formed in a portion substantially parallel to the lower edge of the jack housing 6 to a position opposite to the lower edge of the jack housing 6. This is done by abutting the guide edge 6b provided on the guide edge 6b.

In the conventional jack structure constructed in this way, as shown in FIG.
Insert the current-carrying terminals 3, 4, and 5 protruding from the bottom surface of the jack housing 6 into the terminals a, 1b, and 1c, and solder them to the inserted portions as shown by the dashed lines to connect them to the predetermined positions provided on the printed circuit board 1. (omitted in the figure) and each of the current-carrying terminals 3, 4, and 5. As shown in FIG. 2b, the current-carrying terminal 4 of the second contact piece 4a is connected to the printed circuit board. Since the hole 1b of 1 is in contact with the inner wall surface of the cover 8 constituting the 1 side wall of the housing, when the flux applied to the current-carrying terminal 4 during soldering is melted by the soldering heat, this melted The flux rises along the hole 1b of the printed circuit board 1 and the inner wall surface of the cover 8 due to capillary action, reaches the lower surface of the first contact piece 3a, and connects the first contact piece 3a and the second contact piece 3a.
Penetrates between the surfaces in contact with the contact piece 4a, resulting in poor contact.

The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned problems, and includes a jack casing having an openable/closable cover and an open portion adjacent to the cover in which a portion that should come into contact with a printed circuit board is released; a first energizing terminal that is attached to the housing and leads out a first contact piece that is in contact with the cover from the open part; a second current-carrying terminal that leads out a second contact piece that is in contact with the opening part to the outside from the release part; and a third current-carrying terminal that leads a third contact piece that is connected to the fixed terminal to the outside from the release part. and a first contact piece in which the cover and the first contact piece are in contact with each other.
and a groove provided between a second contact portion where the cover and the second contact piece come into contact, and a groove provided between the contact portion of the cover and the second contact piece, When fixing the jack casing to the printed circuit board, contact between the first contact piece and the second contact piece is prevented by blocking flux in the groove so that it does not reach the first contact portion. The present invention provides a jack structure characterized in that it is configured to maintain a good condition.

By the way, as shown in the figure, there are equal intervals between the part of the inner wall surface of the cover 25 that the first contact piece 21a contacts and the part of the second contact piece 22a that the energizing terminal 22 contacts. Moreover, two levels of horizontal grooves 27a and 27b are provided.

As shown in FIG. 3, the jack structure according to the present invention constructed in this manner has respective energizing terminals 21, which are protruded from the lower surface of the jack housing 20, with respect to the holes 30a, 30b, and 30c provided in the printed circuit board 30.
22 and 23, and solder them as shown by the dashed lines in the same figure to connect the predetermined circuits (not shown in the figure) provided on the printed circuit board 30 and the respective current-carrying terminals 21, 22, 23. This is to make contact.

Therefore, when the current-carrying terminal 22 inserted into the hole 30a of the printed circuit board 30 is soldered as shown by the one-dot chain line, the flux applied to the current-carrying terminal 22 is melted by the soldering heat, as in the conventional soldering process. Then, along the hole 30a and the inner wall surface of the cover 25, it tries to rise toward the first contact piece 21a due to capillary action, but the two upper and lower grooves 27a and 27b provided on the inner wall surface of the cover 25 prevent it from rising. Since the flux rising up is collected, the flux rising due to capillary action is collected in the grooves 27a, 2.
7b, and does not reach below the first contact piece 21a along the inner wall surface of the cover 25. Therefore, the first contact piece 21a and the second contact piece 2
The melted flux penetrates between the contact surfaces with 2a,
There will be no contact failure.

In addition, in the above embodiment, only the prevention of flux buildup occurring in the current-carrying terminal 22 inserted into the hole 30a of the printed circuit board 30 was explained, but a similar phenomenon may occur in the other current-carrying terminals 21 and 23. In this case, it is possible to prevent the flux from rising in the direction of the contact piece by providing grooves similar to the grooves in the above embodiment on an appropriate wall surface.

However, in this embodiment, except for the current-carrying terminal 22, the other current-carrying terminals 21 are protruded from the inside of the jack housing 20 through holes, and are provided parallel to the outer wall, so that flux rises. In addition, since the open part of the lower surface of the jack housing 20 faces downward, the current-carrying terminal 23 is difficult to cause capillary phenomenon.
Since the periphery of the current terminal 23 does not come into contact with other parts and capillarity is less likely to occur, no flux rise is observed on the wall surface near the current-carrying terminal 23 even if no grooves are provided.

Since a flux reservoir is formed on the inner wall surface of the jack housing, when the jack is attached to a printed circuit board, for example, the flux that melts due to solder heat and tends to rise in the direction of each contact piece can be collected in the flux reservoir. I can do it. Therefore, there is no penetration of flux into each of the contact pieces, no contact failure occurs between the contact surfaces, and good jack function can be ensured over a long period of time.
