Abstract

PURPOSE:To carry out change of warp yarn density and increase or decrease in weaving width without exchanging comber boards, by stretching warp yarns on dents, capable of adjusting an interval and having a stretchable member and arranging plural comber boards between the dents and a harness guide. CONSTITUTION:Stretchable members secured to both ends of dents 6 are constituted to enable expansion and contraction, change of the dent interval and regulation of warp yarn density. The first comber board 3 and second comber board 4 are arranged between the warp yarns stretched through the above- mentioned dents 6 and a harness guide 2 just under a Jacquard machine 1. The above-mentioned first comber board 3 is constituted so as to enable rotation of comber board pieces on an intermediate shaft as the center. The pieces are tilted at a prescribed crossing angle by rotation thereof to increase or decrease the interval of the harnesses inserted through through-holes of the comber board. Thereby, opening motion of the warp yarns is simultaneously carried out while restricting the interval so as to coincide with the respective warp yarns with the second comber board.

(Prior art) When weaving a fabric using a loom, weft threads are passed between both warp groups to sequentially compose the fabric, but when adding a pattern to the fabric, the structures of the warp and weft yarns are changed to a certain degree. It is woven by A jacquard machine is used for this weaving, and the vertical movement of the warp threads is regulated by the movement of the threads passed through a harness guide from the jacquard machine and restrained in a predetermined position by battens. , a predetermined pattern is formed. Regarding this point, it is the basic structure of the loom and there is no need to explain it again, but at the end of the thread that is suspended from the Jacquard machine through the batten, there is a mesh glass through which the warp thread is threaded. The threading thread and the warp thread are combined in a ratio of 1:1. When weaving a fabric having a predetermined pattern, the warp threads are passed between the reeds and also inserted through the thread eye glass to set the threads. However, even with threads set in this way, if you change the density of the warp threads or increase or decrease the width of the fabric, it is necessary to rethread the threads through another batten even if the pattern is the same. . There is no problem if there are only a few threads to be threaded, but if there are several thousand or more than 10,000 threads, it becomes a difficult job.
It is also a task that requires skill. Of course, it is necessary not only to reset the threads but also to adjust the warp threads, but changing the density of the warp threads and adjusting the weaving width can be done in Japanese Patent Application No. 62-3362.
As described in No. 95, this problem can be dealt with by arbitrarily adjusting the reed feather density. In other words, the distance between the reed blades can be finely adjusted while the reed frame remains set, without having to replace the reed frame as in the past.
Each reed feather is fixed to an elastic member. In this way, even if the warp thread density and weaving width of the fabric can be changed by adjusting the reed blades of the reed frame, the thread threading will also be adjusted to follow the warp threads and maintain a constant length. If this is not possible, the meaning of the above-mentioned reed feather adjustment will be completely lost.

In other words, if you forcefully move the thread to the warp thread position without changing the position of the hole in the batten that guides one thread,
The height of the eye glass at the end of the thread changes, resulting in a problem in weaving.

(Objective of the present invention) When forming a pattern on a woven fabric in this way, the spacing between threads that are moved up and down by a jacquard machine is adjusted as the warp thread density and weaving width of the woven fabric are changed. The present invention is a technology developed to solve these problems, and involves adjusting the warp yarn spacing (i.e. density). To provide a jacquard weaving method and an apparatus therefor, in which thread threading can be freely adjusted and the replacement of new battens is not required.

(Structure of the present invention) Therefore, in order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the jacquard weaving method and its apparatus according to the present invention are configured with the following features. First of all, the reed frame has a structure that allows fine adjustment of the density of use. Of course, the structure is not limited to this, but basically both ends of each component are fixed to an elastic member such as a spring or a rubber band, and the structure is such that the elastic member is expanded and contracted. A batten is placed between the warp thread stretched through the reed blades of the reed frame and the harness guide installed directly below the jacquard machine. It is separated into a batten and a second batten. The first batten has many small holes like conventional battens, but it is not completely fixed to the loom body frame, and has a shaft in the middle, through which it can be inserted. It is attached to the shaft and is rotatable about the shaft. In this case, the first batten is divided into two parts around the axis, and the left and right batten pieces are tilted at a predetermined intersection angle by the rotation. By inclining the batten pieces in this way, the distance between threads inserted through the holes in the batten can be increased or decreased. Of course, after the intersection angle is adjusted to a predetermined angle around the axis, the ends of the first plate pieces are fixed so that the intersection angle does not fluctuate. Further, the second stitch plate is used to re-insert the threads that have been passed through the holes in the first plate, and the second stitch plate is adjusted so that each thread is positioned at the same position as the warp thread. The spacing between the holes through which the thread is inserted must be adjustable. Here, there are various methods for adjusting the interval between the through holes, but basically a telescopic member is used, and both ends of a straight material such as a wire are fitted into the member, or the through holes are It is also possible to adjust the width to match the entire width of the fabric by dividing the batten formed into a large number of batten pieces and interposing spacers between each batten piece.

By the way, the relationship between the first stitch board and the second stitch board is that the yarn coming out of the harness guide is first expanded to the approximate width of the fabric by the first stitch board, and then moved to a position that matches each warp thread by the second stitch board. restrained so as to be suspended. Therefore, the first stitch board may be fixed so as to have the maximum and minimum average values of the weaving width.

is fixed at both ends to a telescopic member 7.7, and the distance (pitch) can be adjusted by the expansion and contraction of the member 7, and the telescopic member 7 is fixed only in the longitudinal direction. A degree of freedom is provided, and in this state, the distance can be finely adjusted by the degree of engagement between the inclined portions 8 formed at both ends of the reed feathers 6 and the elastic member 7. That is, by moving the adjusting member 9 in the longitudinal direction to move the member 6 up or down, the abutment member 10 engaged with the adjusting member 9 is moved up or down. Of course, FIG. 2 as a means for adjusting the distance between the two is only one example.

Therefore, if the guide member 21 connected to the tip of the telescopic member 17 is moved along the outer frame 13, each link 1
Since the intersection angle α between 8a and 18b increases or decreases, and each part of the expandable member 17 can expand and contract equally, vertical wire rods 15, 15, etc. are fixed to the links 18a and 18b at regular intervals. If this is done, the distance between the vertical wires 15, 15, etc. will increase or decrease as a result of the expansion and contraction described above. However, since the vertical wire 15 itself has no elasticity, the links 18 to which both ends are fastened must be a pair of links that are parallel to each other, and the fastening portions must be in a state where they can rotate relative to the links 18. It is necessary that By the way, the elastic action of the elastic member 17 must be such that it contracts from both sides with respect to the center line of the weaving width, and conversely expands to both sides, and should not expand or contract only on one side. The fixed ends 22 of the links 18 are provided at the centerline portions of the links 17, and are arranged symmetrically with respect to the centerline.

On the other hand, FIGS. 6 and 7 show other embodiments of the second batten 4, in which batten pieces 23, 23... are arranged in the outer frame 13, and each batten board piece 23, 23... A spacer 24 is interposed between the two. Of course, the batten piece 23 is provided with through holes 16, 16, . In this case, fine adjustment of the distance between the individual through holes 16, 16, . . . is not possible, but general adjustment is possible by replacing the spacer 24. The batten 4 shown in FIG. 6 is applied to fabrics having a relatively narrow width, and the batten 4 shown in FIG. 7 is intended for fabrics with an enlarged width.
