Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a nondirectional polypropylene film where molecular orientation is not generated, by a method wherein at the time of cooling with a cooling roll, molten polypropylene resin is pressed with a press roll through a supporting belt and sent out under an orientationless state. CONSTITUTION:Polypropylene resin is charged into a T die, melted, extruded downwise and sent to a cooling roll 2 by placing on the surface of a supporting belt 5. Molten polypropylene resin sent to the cooling roll 2 is pressed against the cooling roll 2 by a press roll 3 arranged by facing on the cooling roll 2 through a supporting belt 4 and cooled and a polypropylene film 6 is formed. This polypropylene film 6 is cooled by the cooling roll 2 under orientationless state through the supporting belt 5 and sent out through the cooling roll 2 under the orientationless state. Therefore, molecular orientation is not generated on the manufactured polypropylene film 6, nondirectional polypropylene film is made and becomes structure which is apt to out off bidirectionally such as a longitudinal direction and a direction meeting at right angles with the same.

は、一方向たとえば包装袋の長手方向には切れても、こ
れと直交する方向すなわち横方向には切れ難いものとな
る。

支持ローラ4゜4との間には無端状支持ベルト5が巻回
されている。上記支持ベルト5は、ポリエステルフィル
ムを素材として作られている。また上記冷却ロール2の
表面にはテフロン加工が施されていて、作られるべき無
方向性ポリプロピレンフィルム6のロール離れをよくす
るようにしている。この無方向性ポリプロピレンフィル
ム6のロール離れをよくするために、スリップ剤や離ロ
ール剤がレジンに添加されるが性能上の要求から添加が
不可能な時には冷却ロール2と別に設けた支持ローラ7
.7との間には無端状支持ベルト8を巻回してもよい。

に切れ易い構造となる。

で、ポリプロピレンフィルムに縦方向または横方向の分
子配向が生じず、したがってこのポリプロピレンフィル
ムをラミネートしたラミネートフィルムを素材として包
装袋を作ると、手切れ性に富みかつ落下強度もバランス
の良い強度とすることができる。
