Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the tape traveling guide at the most suitable height in response to the ambient temperature by providing an energizing means for energizing a tape traveling height adjusting screw and a tape guide member, both having large thermosensitive deformable characteristics, toward a head part of the tape traveling height adjusting screw. CONSTITUTION:The tape traveling height adjusting screw 7 is formed out of such a material that its lengthwise variation against the temperature change is particularly large, whereas the height is regulated by the head part 8, while the tape traveling guide member constitutive of top and bottom guide flanges 2 and 3 and a tape guide surface 1 is always energized with a light force toward the head part 8 of the tape traveling height adjusting screw 7. Consequently, a free length of the tape traveling height adjusting screw 7 is changed in response to the temperature change, and the tape traveling guide members 2 and 3 are moved up and down no to give an immoderate force to a tape, thus obtaining a proper step difference between the tape guides in accordance with a variation of rigidity of the tape. By this method, the stable tape travel is feasible over a wide temperature range.

フランジ3′によって著しく損傷させられるばかシでな
く正しいテープ走行が得られなくなり、正常な記録再生
ができなくなるという問題点を有していた。又、このよ
うな問題は機器の小型化が進み、各種テープガイド間の
距離が短くなる程顕著となる傾向にある。
