However, in the above-described configuration, the tape running adjustment is performed at room temperature, and even when the height of the tape guide portion is adjusted so that correct running can be obtained, the tape can be used in a low-temperature environment. When the tape is made of a resin film, the tape is hardened and the rigidity is increased, so that the biasing force becomes too large at the same difference in the height of the tape guide portion as at room temperature, so that the tape 9 has the lower guide flange as shown in the figure. Would be out of 3 '
The lower portion of the lower edge of the tape 9 is not only damaged significantly by the guide flange 3 ', but also has a problem in that correct tape running cannot be obtained and normal recording and reproduction cannot be performed. Further, such a problem becomes more remarkable as the miniaturization of the device advances and the distance between the various tape guides becomes shorter.

With this configuration, when the tape running is adjusted at an arbitrary room temperature and used at another temperature, the upper and lower guide flanges 2, 3 for regulating the tape running height in accordance with the change in hardness and rigidity of the tape 9 are used. Changes up and down together with the tape guide surface 1, causing damage to the tape 9, the upper and lower guide flanges 2, 3
The tape can be prevented from falling off, etc., and a tape urging force that is almost the same as at normal temperature can be obtained, so that reliable recording and reproduction can be obtained.

FIG. 2 is a top view of the temperature-sensitive deformable member 10, and FIG. 3 is a side sectional view thereof. FIG. 4 is a side sectional view of the second embodiment relating to the temperature-sensitive deformable member, which is suitable when a large amount of deformation is required. FIG. 5 shows a third embodiment relating to a temperature-sensitive deformable member, which has a cylindrical shape. In addition, these temperature-sensitive deformable members are of a bimetal type in which dissimilar metals or the like are bonded together, or have a shape change that is gentle with respect to a temperature change of a shape memory alloy or a shape memory resin, and compared with other constituent members. Very large ones are suitable.

Although the embodiment has been described in which the tape guide surface and the upper and lower guide flanges are integrated and do not rotate, the upper and lower guide flanges are fixed, and the roller having the tape guide surface can rotate between them. Alternatively, the tape running height may be regulated by moving up and down to the side of the fixed guide cylinder.

Effect of the Invention As described above, the present invention provides a tape traveling position regulating member that regulates the tape traveling position, and a temperature-sensitive deformation member that regulates the tape traveling position regulating state of the tape traveling position regulating member,
By automatically changing the tape in accordance with the ambient temperature, reliable tape running can be obtained over a wide temperature range. In addition, since there is no need to provide a tape running position detecting means, a heating means, and the like, and the configuration is extremely simple, it can be realized at low cost.
