Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain health care data in a short time, by a method wherein a cup for urinalysis is disposed inside a urinal, electrodes are disposed inside the cup and a display unit displaying an output signal from a detector is provided. CONSTITUTION:A cup 12 is set by rotating a motor normally. Electrodes 7 and 8 are connected electrically to a high-frequency voltage oscillator 15. With a knob 16 operated, this oscillator 15 impresses selectively different frequencies of four kinds, for instance, between the fore end 7a of the electrode and the cup 12. These frequencies are synchronized beforehand with molecular natural frequencies of sugar, protein, occult blood and a hydrogen ion contained in urine. When the urine 17 comes in the cup 12, therefore, molecules of a substance are excited in relation to the concentration of the substance according to a frequency at that time, and an electric resistance is varied. Therefore a voltage drop value is varied and the pointer of a detector 18 oscillates in accordance with the concentration. When an auto-recorder 21 is connected as a display unit, data are recorded automatically on a card 25. In this way, a record on urinalysis can be obtained in a short time.

However, since there is no conventional means of understanding the condition, it is only when the patient's physical condition worsens and it becomes unbearable that he/she visits a doctor to ascertain the various data and receive treatment. Then, for example, patients visit the hospital every other week to collect data and improve treatment. Now, the human body changes every day, and it is easy to lead an easy lifestyle, for example, it is easy to take in too much salt in food. It is very common for a kidney disease that has almost been cured to take a turn for the worse in the interim until the next medical examination.

In the present invention, urine excreted into a toilet bowl is placed in the toilet bowl, and is directly received by a cup having an electrode, and a detector is connected to the electrode to detect the content state of substance molecules in the urine from which data is to be collected. By doing so, the tendency of substance molecules contained in the urine is detected, and the output signal of this detector is displayed on a display, making it possible to grasp the tendency of changes in physical condition. In particular, when collecting urine, since the urine test cup is placed in the toilet bowl, there is no problem and no special consideration is required even if urine overflows from the cup during normal urination.

Examples will be explained below with reference to figures. 1 is the toilet bowl, 2 is the toilet seat,
The lid 3 is rotatably supported by the case 5 via a pin 4. The arm 6 is made of a material with low moisture absorption such as polypropylene resin, and a plate-shaped electrode 7.8 is integrally attached to the lower surface of the arm. Reference numeral 9 denotes a motor attached to the case 5. A threaded rod 10 is attached to the rotating shaft of the motor, into which a threaded cylinder 20 integrated with the arm 6 is screwed, and the tip end is a bearing plate integrated with the case 5. It is rotatably supported at 11. The arm 6 is slidably supported by the bearing plate 11, and a urinalysis cup 12 formed of a highly elastic metal plate is attached to the lower end of the arm 6.
is attached so that the legs A are electrically welded together, and a storage arm 13 is provided. The lower end 7a of the electrode 7 is positioned sufficiently below the upper edge of the cup in the free position of the cup, and is configured to sink sufficiently into the urine when urine 17 enters the cup. If the motor 9 is rotated in the normal direction, the cup will be set so as to intersect with the trajectory of excreted urine in the air as shown in Figure 1. When reversed, it rises as shown in Figure 3, and on the way, arm 1
3 touched the edge of the toilet seat, his legs were bent, and the 4th one was leaning heavily.
It is hidden behind the toilet seat as shown by 12a in the figure. Therefore, there is no feces, and the water in the cup spills out without leaving anything behind. 14 is a switch that also serves as a motor rotation switch. The electrode 7.8 is electrically connected to a high frequency voltage oscillator 15, which selectively applies, for example, four different frequencies between the electrode tip 7a and the cup 12 by means of a knob 16. This frequency is for example sugar, protein, and occult blood contained in urine.

It is synchronized with the molecule's natural frequency of hydrogen ions. Therefore, when urine 17 is in a cup, the molecules of the substance are excited in relation to the concentration of the substance at that time depending on the frequency at that time, and the electrical resistance changes, so the voltage drop value changes and it also functions as an indicator like a meter. The pointer 19 of the detector 18 swings according to the concentration. Therefore, for example, the state of sugar at that time can be automatically and immediately grasped on the spot. Furthermore, when a self-recorder 21 is connected in addition to the meter as a display, data is automatically recorded on the card 25.

Generally, when the user operates the switch 14 to position the cup 12 downward to urinate, a portion of the urine remains in the cup, resulting in a state indicated by reference numeral 17 in FIG. 5. In this case, since the urinalysis cup is placed inside the toilet bowl, the overflowing urine does not stain the surrounding area, and the user can urinate normally without taking any special precautions. Next, when the knob is turned, the excitation phenomenon of the substance molecules immediately occurs as described above, and the pointer 19 indicates the concentration trend of the substance to be measured, so that the corresponding health level can be determined instantaneously. After measuring the four types, clean water 23 is poured from the injection port 22 for flushing the toilet bowl. This water is first projected into the cup and then falls to the bottom of the toilet bowl, cleaning the cup with urine. When the switch is operated and the cup is pulled up, all of the water falls out as shown by reference numeral 26 in FIG. 4, completing preparations for the next measurement.
