Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten cycle time, in a vertical transfer conveyor device, by arranging carry-in/out conveyor means and a lifter for lifting/lowering a carrying material between the conveyors and a pair of endless travelling bodies below having enlargable/shrinkable interval. CONSTITUTION:The interval between a pair of travel bodies 3 can be enlarged/ shrinked between a narrow interval for carrying a material W while supporting and a wide interval through which the material W passes. In such arrangement, the material W is carried by means of the endless member 3 set to the narrow interval. A lifter 4 is lifted, as required, to the level of the endless travel body 3 in order to receive the material W onto the lifter 4, thus enlarging the interval of the endless travel body 3. Then the lifter 4 is lowered to the level of a conveyor 5 so as to transfer the material W onto the conveyor 5. The material W is transferred from the conveyor 5 to the endless travel body 3 in reverse sequence.

In order to solve such problems, the present invention includes a pair of endless running bodies having a predetermined length and arranged parallel to each other when viewed from above, and the distance between the endless running bodies is set so that the distance between the endless running bodies is equal to the distance between the objects to be transported. The endless traveling body is indirectly attached to the guide member and the endless traveling body is attached to the guide member indirectly, and the pair of endless traveling bodies is set to a narrow width that supports the lower surface of the body and a wide width that allows the transported object to pass vertically. A conveyor means is provided which opens and closes the traveling body and carries out or carries in the conveyed object at a position below the endless traveling body, and the conveyor means is moved up and down between the conveyor means and the endless traveling body to carry out the conveyed object. A lifter for moving the wheel downward or upward was provided between the endless running bodies when viewed in plan.

When the lid is raised from below, the transported object supported and supported by the endless traveling body is slightly lifted and held. When the distance between the pair of endless traveling bodies is increased by the opening/closing drive mechanism to a wide value, the object to be transported is lowered by the lifter to the conveyor means below and carried out by the conveyor means.

Alternatively, the transported object carried in by the lower conveyor means is lifted up by a lifter, raised between a pair of endless running bodies whose distance has been increased to a wide value by an opening/closing drive mechanism, and then opened/closed. The drive mechanism closes the width to a narrow value, and by slightly lowering the lifter, the object to be transported is placed on the endless traveling body. As the endless traveling body travels, the objects to be transported are transported to the upper conveyor line.

Next, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the fluid pressure cylinder 8
The piston rod extends and the mounting table 7 rises in the direction of arrow C, lifting the transported object W by a small distance H from the endless traveling body 3.3 and making it float. Immediately, the endless running bodies 3, 3 move in the direction of arrows E, E, and the distance increases as the width increases. If the width dimension of the transported object W is W, then 3<w<L ......■The narrow width value S and the wide width value are set so that the above Φ formula holds,
As the lifter 4 is shortened, the transported object W can be lowered in the direction of the arrow as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6 without interfering with the pair of left and right endless running bodies 3.3.

When the mounting table 7 of the lifter 4 passes the standby point F shown in Fig. 6, it is detected by a sensor or a limit switch, and the endless running body 3.3 is moved from the imaginary line to the solid line in the figure ( in the direction of arrow G) to restore the narrow width value S (closed state). Then, as shown in Figs. 1 and 2, the endless traveling body immediately receives the next transported object W, 3. Payment can be made in 3. On the other hand, the object W on the lifter 4 is shown in FIGS. 5 and 6 to 1 and 1.
It is transferred to the lower conveyor means 5 as shown in FIG.

FIG. 7 shows an example of application of the above-mentioned FIGS. 1 to 6, in which a pair of devices having the structures shown in FIGS. 1 to 6 are arranged symmetrically. However, the operation of the left half is opposite to that of the right half, and moves the objects W from the lower conveyor means 5 to the upper conveyor line 2. That is, the upper conveyor line 2 and the conveyor means 5 are disposed vertically in parallel when viewed from the side, and the latter is set longer than the former, and the endless running body configured as described above is placed at the left and right ends. 3. Conveyor device consisting of 3 pans and lids 41. 1 are provided respectively, and the transported objects W are circulated as shown by the arrows in the figure. Therefore, the conveyor device 1 at the left end in FIG.
In this case, the conveyor means 5 is for carrying in the transported object W, and the lifter 4 moves the transported object W upward (in the direction of arrow C).

The heavy endless running bodies 3.3 are at the same height (without being raised or lowered), and only the distance between them needs to be opened and closed, so the drive means can be small and small in capacity, and furthermore, It is possible to quickly restore the state in which the object W to be operated is received and held.

これに伴って、サイクル時間の著しい短縮を達成出来る
Accordingly, a significant reduction in cycle time can be achieved.

1. A pair of endless running bodies of a predetermined length are arranged parallel to each other when viewed from above, and the interval dimension of the endless running bodies is a narrow width value for supporting the lower surface of the transported object and a width value for supporting the lower surface of the transported object. The endless traveling body is indirectly attached to the guide member as a variable width value that allows the transported object to pass in the vertical direction, and the pair of endless traveling bodies are opened and closed by an opening/closing drive mechanism, and the endless traveling body is variable. A conveyor means for carrying out or carrying in the transported object is provided at a lower position, and a lifter for moving the transported object downward or upward by moving up and down between the conveyor means and the endless running body is provided in a two-dimensional manner. A conveyor device characterized in that it is provided between the endless running bodies.
