Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a cleaning and bleaching agent composition which not only has excellent bleaching capacity but also can be stably incorporated in a detergent system, by adding a particular org. per acid and a particular compd. CONSTITUTION:A cleaning and bleaching agent composition is obtd. by adding an org. per acid (A) of formula I of II contg. 3-10wt.% org. carboxylic acid exhibiting a pKa of 2-5.5 and a polyethylene glycol (B) having an MW of 4000-20,000. There has been a problem that whilst the org. peracid is superior in bleaching capacity to an inorg. peroxide, it is difficult to incorporate stably the org. peracid in a detergent system. The use of the org. peracid (A) and compd. (B) in combination has rendered the stable incorporation in a detergent system feasible.
