Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform the clear differentiation of a seal and to prevent trouble, by applying a hidden mark or character to the seal other than a character asked for the min. display. CONSTITUTION:Hidden marks 3 are applied to a seal between the character 1 to be displayed and outer frame 2 thereof. When the original drawing having the hidden mark applied thereto is formed, carving is applied to the base of the seal on the basis of said original drawing to form the seal. The completed seal is delivered to a demander along with the data recording such as the place, shape or position of the hidden marks 3. If the shape or position of hidden mark is made different at every seal, forgery or imitation is relatively difficult and trouble from the aspect of a document is reduced.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Application Field] The present invention prevents troubles caused by forgery of seals or errors in seals by including so-called hidden characters or hidden symbols in the seal in addition to the characters that should be displayed. This relates to the improvement of seals.

[Conventional technology] Traditionally, for seals such as recognition seals, registered seals, bank seals, company seals, etc., the original characters were written by a person, and then each character was carved by hand on the stamp base with a chisel along the characters. Ta. The characters created for this purpose were unique to the carver, and furthermore, even if the same carver carved the seals, technically speaking, the same seal could never be produced twice. This is convenient for differentiating the seal from others, which is the purpose of the seal, and has an important meaning. In recent years, in the production of seals, the number of engineers who draw the original characters on the stamp and those who carve them by hand has decreased, so the original characters that have been produced previously are searched to create the original drawings, and the engraving is also done by machines that optically detect the original drawings. I started carving with it. If you manufacture seals using this method, you can easily make seals that are so similar that they can be said to be the same if you order them from the same seal shop. This is inconvenient for the original purpose of seals, which is differentiation. Furthermore, in recent years, computers have been introduced into the manufacturing of seals, and files for letters for seals, seal design, character layout, etc. have come to be done by computers.

[Problems to be solved by the invention] The above-mentioned trends make it difficult to differentiate the users, which is the original purpose of seals. In other words, a large number of seals that give impressions that are almost indistinguishable in reality are used as if the person using them could be individually identified as a different person. For this reason, troubles due to forgery, counterfeiting, and identification of seals are unavoidable.

The inventor focused on the fact that the purpose of a seal is to clearly differentiate the person using the seal from other people, and found a method to easily and reliably create a seal that can be differentiated.
This is an attempt to provide a seal that will reduce problems caused by imitation and identification.

[Means for solving the problem] The present invention clearly differentiates seals by adding some kind of symbol, i.e., a so-called hidden symbol or hidden character, in addition to the minimum characters required to be displayed on the seal. This is intended to solve problems related to seals, such as forgery of seals, uncertainty about the integrity of seals, and difficulty in identifying the identity of the person signing a contract.

[When creating a seal stamp, the stamp shop first asks the client about the characters and purpose that should be displayed, the size, the material of the seal, etc. The seal shop decides on the font, size, layout, etc. based on this, and at this time, it creates an original drawing by adding hidden symbols in the structure of the seal other than the displayed characters.

FIG. 1 shows an example of the original drawing set in this manner, in which a hidden symbol 3 is inserted between the character 1 to be displayed on the seal and the outer frame 2 of the seal. Once the original map with the hidden symbols is created, it is used to engrave it onto the stamp stand using an engraving machine to create a stamp. The completed seal shows the location, shape, and location of hidden symbol 3.
It is handed over to the client along with data records such as location.

The shape, position, etc. of the hidden symbol should be different for each seal. A seal created in this way is relatively difficult to forge or imitate, and there are fewer problems with documents.

Examples of hidden characters and hidden symbols in the present invention include ■Characters such as alphabets and numbers, ■Figures such as circles, triangles, and squares, and ■Inserting a fishmonger's mark in at least one place. Hidden symbols do not necessarily have to be so-called characters and symbols. For example, you can put some kind of picture on the background, or you can use something like a random number table with convex and concave lines. This can also be achieved by intentionally deforming part of the characters or outer frame of the seal, or by intentionally placing the characters in positions that cannot be divided in advance.

If you are especially conscious about it, you can achieve your goal by making scratches on the lines of the letters or the outer frame around the seal, or by changing the thickness of at least one part of the outer frame around the seal.

When creating the original diagram using a computer or engraving it, it is also possible to decide the shape of hidden characters or symbols and then randomly determine the position to insert them using a random number table.

Therefore, it is preferable that these hidden symbols and hidden characters are smaller than the characters that must be displayed, but it is important to accurately understand the detailed layout data of the hidden symbols and hidden characters, and to compare them with other seals. The goal is to clearly differentiate the characters, and to actively, clearly, easily, and intentionally make the differentiation possible without relying on the font, size, or general shape of the font. This is to place so-called hidden characters or hidden symbols on the seal. Also, from the above points, it is clear that it is desirable to have a method of leaving information on these hidden characters and symbols on documents so that they can be passed only to the person requesting the seal. If it is preferable that hidden characters or hidden symbols be always printed on the finished seal, the stamped surface of the hidden symbols or hidden characters may be engraved so as to be slightly higher than the stamped surface of other characters. Materials for seals include materials that have been used up until now for making seals, as well as various materials such as plastics, natural rubber, synthetic rubber, animal materials, plant materials, metals, minerals, and composites of these materials. may be used as appropriate depending on the purpose.

[Effects of the Invention As described above, according to the seal of the present invention, hidden symbols or hidden characters are intentionally included in addition to the characters required to be displayed at the minimum, and the detailed data thereof is clearly recorded. Since the seal is stored, it is possible to easily and reliably differentiate the seal from other seals, and it is possible to reduce troubles caused by forgery, imitation, identification, etc. of the seal.
