ジャケットと隣接した圧力容器下部に溜まり、蓋
を開けたとき、該液状ワツクスが流れ落ちる。上
述のため、炉の作業性、環境及びメンテナンス等
で大きな問題となつていた。

雰囲気中、5Kg/cm2の圧力を該容器に加えなが
ら、昇温速度10℃/Hr保持温度600℃保持時間1
時間、冷却速度10℃/Hrの条件にて操炉した。
操炉後、従来のテーパーガイドがない場合、蓋を
開けたとき液状ワツクスが流出落下しその量は、
約2.5Kgにも達していたのに対し、本考案に係る
テーパーガイドを設けたものは、操炉中逐次液状
ワツクスが排気口から排気され、操炉後では、圧
力容器下部表面に少量付着していたのみで、液状
ワツクスの流出が全くなかつた。
