Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain low power consumption of a radio telephone set by sounding a call tone at a master set when a reception electric field strength as to a ratio telephone set is a preset reference level or over and then the radio telephone set is located in the vicinity of the master set. CONSTITUTION:When connection control is applied by a control circuit 13 and the reception electric field strength as to the radio telephone set 2 is 100dBmuV or over, the control circuit 13 inputs a signal of high level from a 2nd comparator 37. Then the control circuit inputs the signal and judges it that the electric field state is excellent and the ratio telephone set 2 is located in the vicinity of the master set 1. That is, when the radio telephone set 2 is located in the vicinity of the master set 1, the reception electric field strength reaches 100dBmuV or over. The control circuit 13 applies the said judgement, continues the connection control, finishes it and sound a call signal by energizing the speaker 33 without sending said ringer signal to th radio telephone set 2.

With conventional wireless telephone equipment, when receiving a call from a wired line,
The parent device detects the received field strength for the wireless telephone;
If the received electric field strength is sufficiently high, it is determined that the electric field condition is good, and a signal indicating an incoming call is transmitted to the wireless telephone. When the I-less telephone receives this signal, it emits an @ring tone. When the wireless telephone responds to this call, the wireless telephone enters a talking state through the parent device. Also,
If the received electric field strength of the wireless telephone is too low, the master device determines that the field condition is not good and a clear conversation cannot be made, and does not notify the wireless telephone of the incoming call, and instead produces a ring tone on the parent device side. do.

However, when generating a ring tone on the portable radio telephone side, there is a drawback that power consumption is large and the battery power of the radio telephone is quickly consumed. Furthermore, since the DB telephone is miniaturized, it does not have an acoustic structure that produces a loud ringing tone, and has the disadvantage that the sound pressure of the ringing tone is low.

is input. The electric field detection section 35 detects the received electric field strength corresponding to the level of the received carrier wave, and applies a DC voltage (2) corresponding to the detected received electric field strength to the first comparator 36 and the second comparator 37, respectively. As shown in the graph of FIG. 3, this DC voltage V is proportional to the received electric field strength. For example, when the received electric field strength is 2QdBμV, the lower limit voltage VA is reached, and the received electric field strength is 100dBμV.
When (2), the reference voltage becomes VB.

The preset lower limit voltage VA is applied to the first comparator 36 along with the direct Wt voltage (2). Then, the first comparator 36 detects that the DC voltage V is the lower limit voltage VA.
If it is below, a high level signal is output, and if the DC voltage (2) is greater than the lower limit voltage VA, a low level signal is output. On the other hand, the preset reference voltage VB is applied to the second comparator 37 together with the DC voltage V. Then, the second comparator 37 outputs a DC voltage V
If is above the reference voltage VBiX, a high level signal is output, and if the DC voltage (2) is less than the base*voltage (2), a low level signal is output. The outputs of these comparators are applied to control circuit 13.

Furthermore, when the connection control is being performed by the 1ltlj control circuit 13, if the received field strength for the wireless phone f12 is greater than 20 dBμ■ and less than 100 dBμV, the control circuit 13 controls the first comparator 36 and the A low level signal is input from each of the two comparators 37. In the wireless telephone 2, the ringer signal received by the receiver 15 via the receiving antenna 14 is applied to the control circuit 23, and when the control circuit 23 receives this ringer signal, it makes the speaker 24 ring. At this time, when the hook switch 32 is turned on, the control circuit 23 causes the transmitter 18 to transmit an on-hook signal via the transmission antenna 19. In other words, the wireless telephone 2 is tli! If it is near the device 1, the received electric field strength will be 100 dBμV or more. When the control circuit 13 makes the above judgment, it continues and ends the connection control, and without transmitting the ringer signal to the radio telephone 2, it sounds the speaker 33 to produce a ring tone. In this way, in this embodiment, there is no I! Not only when it is determined that the received field strength of the i1 telephone 112 is too low to make a clear conversation, but also when it is determined that the received field strength is so high that the wireless telephone 2 is in the vicinity of the master device 1. Also, a ring tone is generated on the parent device 1 side. When such a ring tone is generated on the side of the parent device 1, there is no need to generate the ring tone on the side of the wireless telephone 112, and therefore the power consumption of the battery 30 of the wireless telephone 2 can be reduced. Furthermore, the parent W device 1 is large enough to have an acoustic structure that emits a loud ringing tone, and therefore has the advantage that the sound pressure of the ringing tone is large.
