Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a platemaking operation to be speedily carried out, by providing a cross-rule pattern indicating surface on one side of a transparent or semitransparent thin sheet, coating another transparent or semitransparent thin sheet on the sheet to obtain a composite sheet, and treating the outer surface of the composite sheet to permit easy removal of a pressure sensitive adhesive therefrom. CONSTITUTION:A cross-rule pattern indicating surface 2 is provided on one side of a transparent or semitransparent thin sheet 1, with vertical and horizontal rules being indicated alternately in red 2a and blue 2b. The cross-rule indicating surface 2 is covered with another transparent or semitransparent thin sheet 3. A surface part of the sheet 1 is treated with a silicone resin or the like to permit easy removal of a pressure sensitive adhesive therefrom. A composite sheet 5 thus obtained is a platemaking material. A pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tape 7 is adhered to a lower surface part of a relief printing plate 6, and the composite sheet 5 adhered to the printing plate 6 through the tape 7 is precisely placed on a mount paper 8 by adjusting the vertical and horizontal rules 2a, 2b on vertical and horizontal reference lines 10, 10 on the mount paper 8. An end part 6' is pressed to be adhered to the mount paper 8, the composite sheet 5 is drawn out, and the printing plate 6 is pressed to be wholly adhered to the mount paper 8, thereby making a plate.

When trying to accurately paste a plate onto a mount, if it deviates from the reference line, the plate must be peeled off and pasted again, and this process is repeated several times before the positioning is finally achieved. This is the reality. In other words, pasting the plate onto the mount was done entirely by hand, requiring skill and intuition. However, the printing accuracy required in letterpress, flexography, and corrugated board printing is greatly influenced by the process of adhering the plate (plate-making process).

1.3 Problems to be Solved by the Invention Therefore, the present invention eliminates the work of pasting the plate onto the mount, which conventionally relied on skill and intuition, and eliminates the work of positioning the plate on the mount and pasting it. The purpose is to solve three technical problems in the industry by allowing any number of people to easily and reliably complete the plate-making work.

2. Structure of the Invention 2.1 Means for Solving the Problems The plate-making material of the present invention forms a grid display surface by drawing straight lines at equal intervals in the vertical and horizontal directions on one side of a transparent or translucent thin sheet. It is desirable to form this straight line at the intersection F1' of red and blue, and cover this grid display surface with a transparent or translucent thin sheet to form a composite sheet, so that the surface of at least one of the sheets is The treated surface allows the adhesive to be easily peeled off.

In addition, in the plate-making method using a surface plate-making material, double-sided tape is applied to the lower surface of a predetermined plate, or synthetic adhesive is applied to the lower surface of the predetermined plate and the upper surface of a mount, respectively. Select arbitrary vertical and horizontal lines on the grid display surface of the composite sheet, glue one edge of the plate slightly protruding outside the composite sheet, and align the selected vertical and horizontal lines of such composite sheet with the vertical and horizontal reference lines of the predetermined mount. At the same time as positioning and placing the plate according to
Thereafter, the plate portion adhered to the composite sheet is peeled off from the surface of the composite sheet, the composite sheet is pulled out, and finally the peeled-off plate portion is pressed and pasted onto a mount.

Furthermore, in the plate-making method using the plate-making material, double-sided tape is applied to the lower surface of a predetermined plate, or synthetic adhesive is applied to the lower surface of the predetermined plate and the upper surface of the mount, respectively, and the plates are spaced at appropriate intervals. Select arbitrary vertical and horizontal lines on the grid display surfaces of the composite sheets arranged side by side, and glue the center part of the plate between both composite sheets, and align the selected vertical and horizontal lines of such composite sheets on the designated mount. The plate is positioned and placed along the vertical and horizontal reference lines, and the central part of the plate that protrudes from the composite sheet is glued onto the mount. The other parts of the plate that have been glued to the composite sheet are then peeled off from the composite sheet surface to form the composite sheet. This is done by pulling out the plate, and finally pressing the peeled-off version onto the backing paper and pasting it.

(See Figures 11 and 17) 3. Effects of the Invention Since the present invention has the configuration described below, it is possible to affix various types of plates to the mount accurately at predetermined positions. Even if the plate becomes bent or deviates from the reference line of the mount, the plate can be immediately peeled off and reattached as many times as desired. It has become possible to eliminate the shortcomings of plate-making work that relied on skill and intuition, and the plate-making process of the present invention has dramatically improved the printing accuracy required in letterpress, flexography, corrugated board printing, etc. This makes it possible to perform ideal printing, which has great effects.

A plate-making material characterized in that the outer surface of at least one of the sheets is made of an adhesive material or a surface treated surface that is easily peeled off. 2. The plate-making material according to claim 1, wherein straight lines in the longitudinal and lateral directions extending the width of the plate are alternately formed in red, blue, and J-22. ■ Paste double-sided tape on the lower surface of a given plate, select any vertical and horizontal lines on the grid display surface of the composite sheet described in item 1 or 2, and slightly touch one end of the plate to the composite sheet. The selected vertical and horizontal lines of such a composite sheet are aligned with the vertical and horizontal reference lines of a predetermined mount, and the part of the plate that protrudes from the composite sheet is glued onto the mount and then placed. A plate-making method in which the plate part that has been adhered to the composite sheet is later peeled off from the composite sheet surface, the composite sheet is pulled out, and finally the peeled-off plate part is pressed and pasted onto a backing paper. ■Apply synthetic adhesive to the lower surface of the prescribed plate and the L side of the mount, and select arbitrary vertical and horizontal lines on the grid display surface of the composite sheet described in item 1 or 2 as a printing plate. Glue one end slightly protruding outside the composite sheet, position and place the selected vertical and horizontal lines of such composite sheet in line with the vertical and horizontal reference lines of a predetermined mount, and remove the part of the plate that protrudes from the composite sheet. A plate-making method in which the plate part that has been adhered to the composite sheet is peeled off from the composite sheet, the composite sheet is pulled out, and finally the lifted plate part is pressed and pasted onto the mount paper. ■ Apply double-sided tape to the lower surface of the prescribed plate, and draw arbitrary vertical and horizontal lines on the grid display surface of the composite sheet described in item 1 or 2, in which the 11-print plates are arranged side by side at appropriate intervals of 1'I. The central part of the selected plate is glued between both composite sheets, and the selected vertical and horizontal lines of such composite sheet are aligned with the vertical and horizontal reference lines of a predetermined mount, and the plate is positioned and placed, and the plate that protrudes from the composite sheet is placed. The central part of the plate is glued to the mount, then the other parts of the plate that have been glued to the composite sheet are peeled off from the composite sheet, the composite sheet is pulled out, and finally the peeled-off part of the plate is pressed and pasted onto the mount. Method. ■A synthetic adhesive is applied to the lower surface of the prescribed plate and the ground surface of the mount, respectively, and the grid plates are placed side by side at appropriate intervals. Select vertical and horizontal lines, glue the center part of the plate between both composite sheets, position and place the selected vertical and horizontal lines of such composite sheet in line with the vertical and horizontal reference lines of the predetermined mount, and remove from the composite sheet. Glue the center part of the protruding plate onto the mount, then peel off the other parts of the plate adhered to the composite sheet from the composite sheet surface, pull out the composite sheet, and finally press this peeled-off version onto the mount. Plate making method for pasting.
