Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the title yarn having appearance of ordinary yarn, shrinking by immersing in warm water, by coating natural yarn with protein in a heating zone of false twisting and crimp processing process for natural fiber and simultaneously hydrating. CONSTITUTION:In subjecting natural yarn 1 to false twisting and crimp processing process through a heater 5 and a spinner 3, the natural yarn is coated with protein and simultaneously by a hydrating device (a) charged with a protein solution in a hydrating bath 37 equipped with a guide roll 6 at the heating zone side. The protein is penetrated into the core of the yarn and the yarn is hydrated to give excellent shape-memorizing yarn of natural fiber.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Application Field] The present invention has the appearance of a normal natural fiber, but when it is soaked in hot water or exposed to steam, it retains the memory of being heated during pretreatment. It shrinks depending on the degree of heating, and even if you put something that has shrunk into water and it stretches, if you dry it without applying tension, it will remember when it shrunk and return to its original shrunk state, and then shrink again. This relates to a method for producing natural fiber memory-shaped yarn that, when soaked in water and dried under tension, remembers its memory before shrinking and returns to a state close to its state before shrinking.

The applicant has filed Japanese Patent Application No. 61-578445 and Japanese Patent Application No. 62-1.
No. 51748, when weaving or knitting, we use completely ordinary natural fibers, such as ordinary silk threads, which are easy to weave and knit, but if they are then immersed in hot water or exposed to steam, they will be heated during pretreatment. It remembers the memory of when it shrunk and shrinks depending on the degree of heating, and even if you put a shrunk object in water and it stretches, if you dry it without applying tension, it remembers the memory of when it shrunk and returns to its original shrunken state. We have developed a manufacturing method and manufacturing device for memory-shape yarn that returns to a similar state, and if the shrunk material is soaked in water and dried under tension, it remembers its memory before shrinking and returns to a state close to the state before shrinking. We created a prototype machine, conducted repeated tests, and improved various aspects.

When the natural fiber 1 is fed and wound onto the winding cylinder 4 via the spinner body 3, the natural fiber 1 is immersed in a protein solution on the heating zone side, and the hydrated natural fiber 1° to which the protein is attached is heated. In the production of memory shape yarn, which is heated by a heating device 5 on the zone side to heat 1° of hydrated natural fibers to which proteins have been attached, and then untwisted by a spinner body 3 immediately after heating, a guide roll is used in the middle of yarn feeding. A water addition tank equipped with a water tank 6 is provided, a protein solution is stored in this water tank field, and by feeding the natural fiber 1 along the guide roll 6, protein can be attached to the natural fiber 1 and water can be added at the same time. This is a characteristic feature.

When the natural fiber 1 is immersed in a protein solution and the protein-adhered thread is passed through a false twisting device, the protein adhering to the thread is heated with water, which binds the protein, which is an isomer of the thread. However, due to this bonding, the thread looks like a normal thread but shrinks when soaked in hot water.

The present invention employs a special water adding device a in which a protein solution is stored in a water adding tank equipped with guide rolls 6, and the natural fibers 1 are placed along the guide rolls 6 to perform water supply and protein attachment at the same time. The protein is sufficiently attached and hydrated to the thread core, and the bond between the protein attached to the thread and the protein inherent in the thread is improved, and the desired appearance is that of a completely normal thread. , resulting in a modified yarn that shrinks when soaked in hot water.

Furthermore, if the tension adjusting device 8 with a buffering effect is provided, the upper spinner bodies 3 that prevent yarn breakage are disposed above and below, and one spinner body 3 is sufficient without providing the heating device 5 between them. Since it exhibits a buffering effect so that a constant tension is always applied, it is possible to obtain a good memory shape yarn that shrinks uniformly without yarn breakage.

Alternatively, the spinner bodies 3 may be arranged one above the other and the heating device 5 may be provided between them. In this case, when the same rotation is applied to the upper and lower spinner bodies 3, the twisting between the upper spinner body 3 and the lower spinner body 3 is not untwisted, but the twisting is stopped while remaining in the heating zone, and the twisting is stopped and the twisting is stopped while the upper spinner body 3 is passed through the upper spinner body 3. Although various structures can be adopted for the heating device 5, it is preferable to use an electromagnetic wave heater of the type in which a heater that generates far infrared rays is built into the tube wall and 1 degree of hydrated natural fiber passes through the center of the tube. A structure in which the spindles are eccentrically arranged at 10° and 10° so as to be wound around each other is desirable because it prevents thread breakage of weak natural fibers and reduces needle thread runout.

If the rotational speed of the spindle is adjusted by increasing or decreasing the rotational speed of the take-up roller 9 or the driving speed of the belt, the degree of heating and untwisting by the spinner body 3 will differ, and as a result, the degree of shrinkage will also change. As described above, the present invention uses natural fibers as processed yarns when heated yarns are heat-treated and untwisted, and the natural fibers are immersed in a protein solution to attach proteins, and the yarns are immersed in the protein solution. Since water is sufficiently added to the yarn core by letting the yarn pass through the water, the proteins attached to the yarn during heat treatment and the proteins inherent in natural fibers are molecularly bonded, and due to this molecular bonding action and heat untwisting action, they are When soaked or exposed to steam, it looks like a normal natural fiber, but it retains the memory of being heated during pretreatment and shrinks depending on the degree of heating. If you dry it without applying tension, it will remember the memory of when it shrunk and will return to a state close to its original shrunken state, and if you soak it in water and dry it with tension, it will remember the memory of before it shrunk. It is transformed into a shape-memory yarn made of natural fibers that returns to a state close to its original state before shrinking.

At this time, protein attachment and hydration can be carried out simultaneously by storing a protein solution in a hydration tank and feeding the natural fiber along a guide roll partially or completely immersed in the protein solution. This means that the fibers can be sufficiently distributed to the yarn core, making it possible to obtain a modified yarn that is more efficient and superior in quality.

This memory shape yarn is easy to weave and knit because it is normally silk with a natural edge of 1 iN, and it can be modified into products that exhibit the desired elasticity by processing it with heated water after making it into various products. Even if it stretches a little after washing, it can return to its original elasticity after drying, and it can also be used to return to its original state before heated water treatment, which does not exhibit elasticity. A wide range of natural fiber memory shape yarns can be produced.
