Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent an electric shock, the short-circuit of a heteropolar terminal and the damage of the terminal by fitting a protruding piece to a concave part before the fitting completion of a fitting concave part and a fitting convex part, and before a power receiving side protruding terminal having externally projecting tip side is brought into contact with a feeding side protruding terminal, when two sucking tube main bodies are connected. CONSTITUTION:A power receiving side protruding terminal 36 on a fitting convex part 25 side inserted to a through hole 34 on a fitting concave part 24 side, and brought into contact with a feeding side terminal 33, and high voltage electric wires 32 in both extension tube 21 are electrically connected. An engaging part 43 of a clamp 41 on the fitting concave part 24 side engages with an engaged part 48 on the fitting convex part 25 side, the both extension tubes 21 are locked, and a level difference surface 27 on the fitting convex part 25 side abuts on the edge surface of the extension tube 21. Protruding piece 51 on the fitting concave part 24 side fits into a concave part 52 of a fitting convex part, whereas, since a fitting length A is longer than an electrical connecting length B between the feeding side terminal 33 and the power receiving side protruding terminal 36, before the feeding side terminal 33 is brought into contact with the power receiving side protruding terminal 36, the protruding piece 51 of the power receiving side protruding terminal 36 fit into the concave part 52. In a contact condition, a gap does not exist between the terminals of a cover body 26 of the both extension tubes 21 of the power receiving side terminal 36.

(Prior Art) Recently, with the spread of carpets in general households, there has been a demand for improved carpet cleaning tools, and suction ports equipped with rotating brushes driven by electric motors have come to be used. The electric motor of this suction port has 100
■Since a power source is required, conventionally, a high-voltage electric wire for power supply inside the vacuum cleaner body and a hose that is removably connected to the vacuum cleaner body are installed through an outlet installed in the vacuum cleaner body. and a high voltage electric wire consisting of a normal power cord is held along the outside of the extension tube which is detachably interposed between the vacuum cleaner body and the suction port body,
Both ends of this high-voltage electric wire are removably connected to the electric wire inside the hose and the high-voltage electric wire provided in the suction port body, respectively,
Electricity inside the suction port body! A structure was adopted in which power was supplied to the lJ1m from the vacuum cleaner itself. However, with this conventional structure, the ease of attaching and detaching the hose, extension tube, and suction port body is poor, so the following two types of extension tubes with built-in electric wires have come to be used.

One is to construct the entire or part of the extension tube body into a double layer, with an air flow path formed inside and a tapered tube for fitting and connection fixed to both ends, so that the inner tube part and the outer tube part are separated. It has a structure in which a power supply terminal connected to the wire and a pin-shaped power receiving terminal each covered by a cylindrical sleeve body are provided at both ends. . In this structure, since the pin-shaped power receiving terminal is covered by the sleeve body, and the power feeding terminal is of course provided so as not to be exposed, power is supplied before the extension tubes are connected to each other. Even if the side terminal and the power receiving side terminal are in contact, there is no risk of the human body coming into direct contact with the high-voltage part, so safety is high, but the heavy color becomes thicker, making it difficult to operate. Too bad.

The other method is to integrally mold an extension tube body with an air flow path inside and a tapered tube section for fitting connection by injection molding or the like, and form a wire storage section on one side of the outer peripheral surface of the extension side body. death,
A power supply side terminal and a pin-shaped power reception side terminal are connected to both ends of the electric wire stored in this housing, and locking devices are provided at both ends, and these electric wires, terminals, and locking devices are covered. It is covered by a cover body, and has a structure in which the tip side of the pin-shaped power receiving side terminal protrudes outward from the cover body. With this structure, the extension tube main body and the tapered tube section can be integrally molded, making it relatively lightweight and
Although it has excellent manufacturability, a certain amount of contact length is required between the power supply side terminal and the power reception side terminal, so it is difficult to connect the extension tubes to each other, the extension tube to the hose, or the extension tube to the suction port body. Before the connection is completed, when there is a gap between the contact surfaces of the extension tubes, that is, the end surfaces of the cover body, the pin-shaped power receiving terminal and the power feeding terminal, whose tips are exposed, come into contact. There is a risk of electric shock, short circuit, etc.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) As mentioned above, although the suction pipe of a conventional vacuum cleaner with an exposed pin-shaped power receiving terminal, such as an extension pipe, has a simple structure, the extension pipes are connected together. When doing so, the receiving terminal comes into contact with the power supplying terminal before the connection is complete, that is, while the receiving terminal is still slightly exposed, which poses a risk of electric shock or short circuit. Additionally, because the power receiving terminals are exposed, they are easily damaged when not connected.

For example, when connecting extension tubes 21 to each other, the fitting convex portion 2 of the other extension tube 21 fits into the fitting recess 24 of one extension tube 21.
At the same time, the power receiving side protruding terminal 36 on the fitting convex part 25 side is inserted into the through hole 34 on the fitting recess 24 side and comes into contact with the power feeding side terminal 33 while sliding, and the period is extended. tube 2
The high-voltage electric wire 32 in 1 is electrically connected. At the same time, the engaging portion 43 of the clamp 41 on the fitting concave portion 24 side is engaged with the test subject fitting portion 48 on the fitting convex portion 25 side, and the extension tube 21 is locked. At that time, the protruding piece 51 on the fitting recess 24 side is fitted into the recess 52 on the fitting protrusion 25 side, but the protruding piece 51 and the recess 52
Since the fitting length A between the power feeding side terminal 33 and the power receiving side protruding terminal 36 is larger than the electrical contact length 8 between the power feeding side terminal 33 and the power receiving side protruding terminal 36, the power receiving side protruding terminal The protruding piece 51 is located on the outer peripheral surface of the terminal 36 and is located in the recessed part 52.
It begins to fit. Therefore, when the power receiving side protruding terminal 36 and the power feeding side terminal 33 are in contact with each other, there is no gap between the end surfaces of the cover bodies 26 of the two long pipes 21 located on the outer peripheral side of the power receiving side protruding terminal 36. It becomes. In other words, while there is still a gap between the pair of power receiving side protruding terminals 36 on the outer periphery side, the power receiving side protruding terminal 36 is not in contact with the power feeding side terminal 33, so the user may accidentally fill the above-mentioned gap during connection. You will not get an electric shock even if your finger or skin is caught in the

In addition to the relationship between the fitting length and electrical contact length mentioned above,
Since the pair of power receiving side protruding terminals 36 are located inside the plane l that passes through both side edges of the protruding piece 51 and is in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the fitting recess 24, the pair of extension tubes 21 are half connected. Then, the power receiving side protruding terminal 36 is brought into contact with the power feeding side terminal 33, and although there is still a gap between the end surface of the extension tube 21 on the fitting recess 24 side and the step surface 27 on the fitting convex part 25 side, the protruding piece 51 is fitted into the recess 52, as shown in FIG. Even if the wire is inserted into the gap or the wire is wrapped around the above-mentioned gap, the metal piece 56 etc. will not only not come into contact with both power receiving side protruding terminals 36 at the same time, but may even come into contact with one of them. It is extremely safe as it has very little noise and prevents short circuits.

(Effects of the Invention) According to the present invention, on either the fitting recess side or the fitting protrusion of the suction pipe main body or the cover body having the removable fitting recess or the fitting protrusion at the end, A protruding piece located on the outer periphery side of the power receiving side protruding terminal whose tip side protrudes outward is provided, and a recessed part into which the protruding piece is fitted is provided on the other side, and the fitting starts from the start of fitting between the protruding piece and the recessed part. The length of movement between the mating recess and the mating protrusion until the mating is completed is made larger than the travel length from the start of contact between the power supply terminal and the power receiving protruding terminal until the mating of the mating recess and the mating protrusion is completed. Therefore, even before the mating is complete, when the power supply side terminal and the power receiving side protruding terminal are in contact, there is no gap on the outer periphery of the power receiving side protruding terminal, which reduces the productivity of the simple structure. This improves safety by preventing electric shocks and short circuits between different terminals. In addition, the protruding piece and recessed part serve as a guide for positioning when connecting the suction pipe bodies, and also act as a rotation stopper during cleaning, making the connection work easier and preventing damage to terminals, etc. and improves durability.

In addition, by providing the protruding piece on the protruding side of the power receiving side, the protruding piece that is always located on the outer peripheral surface of the protruding terminal on the power receiving side can protect the protruding terminal on the power receiving side, even when the suction pipe body is not connected. In addition, by locating the power-receiving side protruding terminal inside the plane that passes through both side edges of the protruding piece and touches the outer circumferential surface of the mating convex part, it can contact from the side edges of the protruding piece to the outer circumferential surface of the mating convex part. It is possible to prevent objects from hitting the protruding terminals on the power receiving side, and these protruding terminals on the receiving side can be protected more reliably.
