Abstract

The invention provides an electric vacuum cleaner, which is provided with accessories with high reliability and a wrong connection preventing structure, wherein the diameters of connection parts of accessories of an AC type and a DC type are the same, and a DC type suction head cannot be connected with the AC type electric vacuum cleaner. The electric vacuum cleaner of the present invention comprises a hose connectable to an AC type vacuum cleaner main body, an extension pipe connectable to the hose, and a suction head, and has a standard accessory of the hose, the extension pipe, and the suction head, and has a diameter of a connection part identical to that of a standard accessory of a DC type electric vacuum cleaner, and a guide receiving part provided at a concave side connection part of the hose and the extension pipe and fitted in a guide part provided at a convex side connection part of the extension pipe and the suction head, and a width of the guide receiving part is narrower than the guide part of the extension pipe and the suction head of the DC type electric vacuum cleaner.

In general, as electric vacuum cleaners, there are known a DC type electric vacuum cleaner using a battery as a power source and an AC type electric vacuum cleaner using a commercial power source as a power source, but when the DC type suction head is erroneously connected to the AC type vacuum cleaner main body and power is supplied, a DC motor provided in the DC type suction head may be broken. Therefore, the diameters of the connection portions of the accessories have been made different so far so that the AC type and the DC type hoses, extension pipes, and suction heads are not compatible with each other.
The invention aims to provide an electric vacuum cleaner, which has the same diameter of the connection part of AC type accessories and DC type accessories and has high reliability of the error connection preventing structure that the DC type accessories can not be connected with the AC type electric vacuum cleaner.
Means for solving the problems
An electric vacuum cleaner having a hose connectable to an AC cleaner body, an extension pipe connectable to the hose, and a cleaner head, characterized in that: the standard accessory having the hose, the extension pipe, and the suction head has the same diameter as that of the standard accessory of the DC vacuum cleaner, and the female connection portion of the hose and the extension pipe has a guide receiving portion into which a guide portion provided in the male connection portion of the extension pipe and the suction head is fitted, and the guide receiving portion has a width narrower than that of the extension pipe and the suction head of the DC vacuum cleaner.
Effects of the invention
According to the present invention, it is possible to provide an electric vacuum cleaner having accessories that are lightweight, low-cost, and have improved reliability without increasing the number of components by configuring an erroneous connection prevention structure in which DC-type accessories cannot be connected to an AC-type electric vacuum cleaner while making use of a guide portion of a connection portion to make the diameters of the connection portion of the accessories of the AC-type electric vacuum cleaner and the DC-type electric vacuum cleaner the same.

Hereinafter, embodiment 1 of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. Fig. 1 is an external view of an electric vacuum cleaner according to embodiment 1 of the present invention. The electric vacuum cleaner 1 includes: a vacuum cleaner main body 2, an operation pipe 4 connected to the hose portion 3 and provided with a hand-held operation switch SW and the like, an extension pipe 5, and a cleaner head 6. Hereinafter, the hose portion 3 and the operation tube 4 may be collectively referred to as a hose.
The cleaner body 2 includes: an electric fan 2a generating suction force, a dust collecting part 2b containing dust collected by the suction force of the electric fan 2a, and the like. In the present embodiment, a so-called cyclone type electric vacuum cleaner is exemplified, but the present invention is also applicable to a so-called paper bag type electric vacuum cleaner.
The hose portion connecting portion, which is one end of the hose portion 3, is connected to the connecting port 2c of the cleaner body 2 so as to communicate with the dust collecting portion 2b of the cleaner body 2. The other end of the hose portion 3 is connected to one end of the operation tube 4.
The operation tube 4 includes a handle 4a provided with a hand-held operation switch SW and the like, a power supply terminal to which power is supplied from the cleaner body 2, and the like. An energizing terminal provided at one end of the extension pipe 5 is connected to the power supply terminal.
By operating the hand-held operation switch SW of the operation tube 4, the operation and stop of the electric blower 2a and the switching between the strength and the weakness, and the operation and stop of the motor provided in the suction head 6 can be performed.
FIG. 2 shows a front view of standard accessories (hose, extension tube 5, cleaner head 6) of example 1 of the present invention before connection.
The operation tube 4 has a female side connection portion 40 at a front end thereof to be connected to a male side connection portion 50 of the extension tube 5.
The extension pipe 5 is composed of an outer pipe 5a and an inner pipe 5b, and is configured to be retractable by operating a retractable button 52. The outer tube 5a has the above-described convex-side connecting portion 50 at an end portion thereof, and the inner tube 5b has a concave-side connecting portion 51 at a tip end thereof, which is connected to the tip 6.
At one end of the suction head 6, there is a male side connecting portion 60 connected to the female side connecting portion 51. By connecting these components, the operation tube 4, the extension tube 5, and the suction head 6 are electrically connected by an electric wire not shown.
In the present embodiment, the operation tube 4 and the suction head 6 are connected via the extension tube 5, but the suction head 6 and the operation tube 4 may be directly connected.
The female-side connection portion 40 of the operation tube 4 has guide receiving portions 40a, 40a (see fig. 3 (a)). The guide receiving portions 40a and 40a are recesses each having a substantially triangular shape and each having a vertical surface 40b and a horizontal surface 40c and 40 c.
The convex side connecting portion 50 of the extension pipe 5 has guide portions 50a, 50a (see fig. 4 a), and the guide portions 50a, 50a are formed as substantially triangular convex portions having vertical surfaces 50b, 50b and horizontal surfaces 50c, 50 c.
Similarly, the female-side connection portion 51 of the extension pipe 5 has guide receiving portions 51a and 51a (see fig. 5 a), and the male-side connection portion 60 of the suction head 6 has guide portions 60a and 60a (see fig. 6 a).
Fig. 7 is an enlarged perspective view of a connection portion of the operation tube and the extension tube of the hose. The guide portions 50a and 50a are formed integrally with the connecting portion by resin (polypropylene or the like) and extend longer in the axial direction than the connecting pin 53, and when fitting, the guide portions are guided so as to enter the pin holes 42b and 42b before the connecting pin 53 collides with the concave surface 41, thereby preventing the connecting pin 53 from being damaged. The guide portions 60a and 60a are also similar, and therefore, the description thereof is omitted.

Widths W1, W3 of the guide receiving parts and widths W2, W4 of the guide parts of the AC-type standard accessories are about 23mm, and are in a fittable dimensional relationship. On the other hand, the widths W1 ', W3' of the guide receiving parts and the widths W2 ', W4' of the guide parts of the DC-type standard accessories are about 27mm, and are in a fittable dimensional relationship.
That is, the dimensional relationships W1, W3 < W2 ', and W4' are set (the dimensional relationship is set such that the width of the guide receiving portion of the AC-type standard accessory is shorter than the width of the guide receiving portion of the DC-type standard accessory).
Here, the inner diameters L1, L3 and the outer diameters L2, L4 of the connection portions of the AC-type standard accessories are about 35 mm. The inner diameters L1 ', L3' and the outer diameters L2 ', L4' of the connecting portions of the DC-type standard accessories are also about 35mm, and have the same diameter in the AC-type and DC-type.
With this configuration, the diameters of the connection portions can be made the same, and when it is desired to connect the DC type cleaner head to the AC type vacuum cleaner, erroneous connection can be prevented by the guide portions 50a, 50a or 60a, 60a interfering with the guide receiving portions 40a, 40a or 51a, 51 a.
Further, according to the present embodiment, the guide portion and the guide receiving portion are fully utilized as the structure for preventing the erroneous connection, and the structure for preventing the erroneous connection can be realized without adding a new component, and the reliability can be improved with light weight and low cost.
In addition, according to the present embodiment, the diameter of the connecting portion can be made the same for the AC type and the DC type, and the non-energized appurtenance 70 as shown in fig. 8 can be used in common, and effects such as shortening of the development period, stabilization of the supply of components, and reduction of the risk of erroneous packages in the manufacturing process can be exhibited.
