ープの現在位置のプログラムナンバーと目的のプ
ログラムナンバーとの差を求める手段と、テープ
を高速で送りながらスタートインデツクス信号を
検出するスタートインデツクス信号検出手段と、
インデツクス信号が検出される度に差を減じてゆ
き目的のプログラムナンバーとの差を求める手段
と、差が０になると目的のプログラムナンバーか
どうかプログラムナンバーを確認する手段と、目
的のプログラムナンバーと異なつていた場合には
、テープを駆動し再び差を求めて目的のプログラ
ムナンバーを検索する手段と、プログラムナンバ
ーを確認した結果、目的位置を通り過ぎていたた
め逆方向に検索動作を行う逆方向にテープを駆動
する手段と、逆方向に検索する場合に求めたプロ
グラムナンバーと目的のプログラムナンバーとの
差に１／２を乗じる手段とを有し目的のプログラ
ムの方向に検索を行い目的のプログラムを検索す
