Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject padding cloth optimum as a wool face material, by heat fusion treatment, adhesive application and low-temperature plasma treatment of a fiber mat composed of a web as the interlayer made up of wool fiber and low-melting heat-fusible fiber and synthetic fiber webs as the upper and lower layers. CONSTITUTION:First, a fiber mat composed of (A) a web 1 as the interlayer made up of wool fiber and low-melting heat-fusible fiber (in the weight ratio =60-80:40-20) and (B) second and third webs 2, 2 as the upper and lower layers made up of 100% synthetic fiber is put to heat fusion process with heated embossed roll to produce a nonwoven fabric. Thence, a heat-fusible resin 3 is applied in a dotted manner, on one side of said nonwoven fabric followed by low-temperature plasma processing, thus obtaining the objective padding cloth. This cloth is smooth in surface, good in shrinkproof effect, producing no felting phenomenon, having soft and nerve feel, and excellent in followability for hygroexpansivity.

Traditionally, non-woven interlining for men's and women's clothing made from cool materials has been made of synthetic fibers such as polyester and nylon, but these have lost the soft and combed texture of cool, and have been fabricated due to the characteristics of wool. Aro hygral expandability was poor, curling phenomenon occurred on the interlining, etc., and it was not completely satisfactory. Furthermore, when ordinary wool was used as the cool composite core, there were problems such as the scale of the wool acting on it, causing it to bulge out to the outer side or cause felting.

In view of the above-mentioned problems, the present invention uses wool fibers for interlining for clothing, thereby maintaining the soft and combed texture of wool, and achieving good conformity to 11 Igral Expansion properties. Therefore, we discovered that by applying low-temperature plasma treatment to the interlining made of wool fibers, the scale on the surface of the wool will fall off, a sufficient shrink-proofing effect will be obtained, and the phenomenon of wool popping out and felting will be eliminated. It is something that That is, the present invention uses wool fibers of 60 to
