Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a chlorine-containing resin composition, resistant to discoloration with light and keeping the other stabilizing effect of the stabilizer, by blending inorganic lead-base stabilizer and titanium oxide together with zinc compound. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. chlorine-containing resin is blended with (A) 0.1-10pts. wt. inorganic lead-base stabilizer (e.g., tribasic lead sulfate, dibasic lead sulfate), (B) 0.01-2pts.wt. zinc compound (e.g., zinc stearate) and (C) 0.01-10pts.wt. titanium oxide.
