This sludge contains a large amount of sludge-like substances, human feces, and other soluble organic matter, and also has a very high water content. Therefore, when such waste is disposed of, it is unhygienic as sewage and fine organic matter may drip during transportation, or bad odors may be scattered all around. In addition, sewage flows into groundwater and rivers, causing pollution. Furthermore, it is difficult to incinerate the residue and scum due to their high moisture content, and the cost is high. Furthermore, even if the waste is directly dumped, there are a number of drawbacks, such as the difficulty of finding a suitable location near a city due to bad practices.

。Reference numeral 3 denotes a trough from which the residue scraped and collected from the screen 1 by the rake device 2 is discharged. This trough 3 is used for discharging the residue scraped up and collected from the screen 1 by the rake device 2, and when two or more rows of screens 1 are arranged in parallel, this trough 3 is used for discharging the residue from the screen 1. 1
A cleaning tank 4 is installed adjacent to the pond of the sewage treatment plant where the screen 1 is installed, and the tip of the trough 3 reaches above one end of the cleaning tank 4. and the trough 3 is inclined so that the seed side is lower. As a result, the residue scraped up and discharged into the trough by the screen and relay equipment naturally flows down to the washing tank due to the slope of the trough 3 and the washing water supplied from the upstream side of the trough 3. 5 is a pipe that supplies cleaning water.

A roller 6] is rotatably supported at the tip of a swing arm 62, and the base end of the swing arm 62 is swingably supported by a bearing 63 provided in the trough 3 or a frame (not shown). The roller 61 is then rotated by a drive device 64 installed on the swinging member 62 via a power transmission means 65 such as a chino or a gear.

Further, in order to ensure that the residue flowing down in the trough is bitten by the crushing roller 61, a large number of protrusions 66 may be provided on the outer periphery of the crushing roller 61.

When the residue comes to the position of the crushing roller 61 which is rotating at a rotational speed higher than the flow rate of the residue, the rotating crushing roller 6
It is bitten by the outer circumferential surface of No. 1 or the protrusion 66, is sheared and crushed, and is forcibly sent between the trough and the crushing roller, and then is compressed by the pressing force of this roller. This human excreta-containing sludge is reliably crushed by shearing and crushing by the crushing rollers, mixed with the washing water in the trough, and further flowed down the trough and thrown into the washing tank. The scum forcibly crushed in this washing tank is further washed with sprayed washing water and loosened, thereby ensuring that even substances such as human excrement can be washed more reliably.

間を短縮できる利点がある。It takes a long time to crush the human excreta in the sediment and dissolve it into the water using a method that uses only stirring blades or jets in the washing tank, but with the present invention, human excrement, etc. As the residue such as feces flows down the trough, it is sheared and crushed by a crushing roller and then supplied to the cleaning tank, so it can be reliably eluted into the cleaning water and washed, improving the cleaning efficiency of the residue. It also has the advantage of shortening the cleaning time.
