PURPOSE:To improve exhaust efficiency by exhausting materials to be exhausted such as gas and fume being generated through hollow parts of conical pins to hold a material to be machined from through holes at the time of laser beam machining. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam 2 of a machining head 1 is condensed by a condenser lens 3 and the condensed laser beam 4 is moved above the material 6 to be machined by moving the machining head 1 to execute cutting or boring on the material 6 to be machined. At this time, assisting gas is carried onto the same axis as the laser beam 2 to assist machining of the material 6 to be machined.
