Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain an angiogrm and a blood flow velocity image having no artifact by a small inclined magnetic field power supply without elongating an echo time to a necessary degree or more, by arranging the flow encoding pulses of an inclined magnetic field having timewise allowance so that homospoit effect becomes max.
CONSTITUTION: An examinee 102 is placed in a magnet 101 and a high frequency wave is generated by a transmission system 106 to irradiate the examinee 102 from a transmission coil 104. A nuclear magnetic resonance signal is received by a receiving coil 105 to be converted to audible frequency by a transmitting- receiving system 106 while said frequency is converted to a digital signal by an A/D converter 107 to be processed by a computer 109 to be displayed on a display device 110. An inclined magnetic field applying position data necessary for imaging is applied by an inclined magnetic field power supply 108 and an inclined magnetic field coil 103. The flow encoding pulse of a slice axis having timewise allowance is arranged so as to maximize homospoil effect. With respect to slice axes on and after a 180°-pulse, the effect of an inclined magnetic field of positive polarity becomes large and the phase of dummy FID comes apart and no artifact is generated.
