Claims

[Claims for Utility Model Registration] (1) A charge wire is provided so as to be able to move toward and away from the surface of the photoreceptor, and the charge wire increases as the thickness of the paper increases in accordance with the thickness of the paper to be transferred. 1. A transfer device for an image forming apparatus, characterized in that the transfer device is configured to approach the surface of a photoreceptor. (2) A shield case with the charge wire stretched thereon is provided so as to be rotatable around an axis parallel to the rotational axis of the photoconductor, and the paper to be transferred is placed on the upstream side of the shield case in the paper feeding direction, so that the paper to be transferred is placed on the surface of the photoconductor. A guide member is provided in series to guide the transfer target paper, and the shield case is rotated by a pressing force based on the thickness of the paper to be transferred to the guide member, so that the charge wire approaches the surface of the photoreceptor.
