(Example) An example of implementing the present invention will be explained with reference to the attached drawings.
In the drawing, 1 indicates a transfer path for pneumatically conveying vinyl chloride or other pellet-like resin, and 2 indicates a tangential flow type cyclone connected to the transfer path 1. A conveyance passage 3 for conveying the pellet-shaped resin is formed, and the passage 3 includes a spiral first guide vane (4) descending toward the center of the cyclone 2 and a first spiral guide vane (4) extending vertically above the guide vane (4). A second guide vane 5 is provided, an inlet 6 is provided facing the passage 3 of the cyclone 2 in a tangential direction thereof, and an outlet is provided at the upper part of the cyclone 2 for taking out the separated powder or string-like material. An outlet 7 was provided, and at the bottom of the cyclone 2, an outlet 8 for taking out pellet-shaped resin was provided. Note that the second guide vane 5 has only its lower part 5a tilted to ensure the transfer of the powdered resin from the first guide vane 4 to the second guide vane 5. Reference numeral 9 indicates a support supporting the second guide vane.

(作用) 次に本考案の作用を説明する。(effect) Next, the operation of the present invention will be explained.

For example, at a flow rate of about 25 m/sec, resin pellets with a diameter of about 4 mm and a thickness of about 3 mm are blown into the cyclone 2 in a state where they are mixed with powder or fine particles generated during conveyance.

At this time, these particles rise within the cyclone following the first guide vane 4, but as they rise, the heavier pellet-shaped resin has a decrease in air volume due to friction with the first guide vane 4. It then stalls, moves to the center side where the flow velocity is slower according to the inclination of the first guide vane 4, falls from the gap between the cylinder 2a and the first guide vane 4 while drawing an arc, and then moves to the second guide vane along with powder, etc. The pellet-like resin that has arrived at the guide vane 5 loses its swirling force when it comes into contact with the guide vane 5, so that it is reliably separated from the powder, etc., and falls in the same manner as described above and is taken out from the outlet 8 below.

However, light powder or string-like powder rises along the first guide vane 4 and passes through the second guide vane 4.
Together with the air flow guided upward by the guide vanes 5, the air is directed towards the upper outlet 6 and is extracted therefrom.

(Effect of the invention) As described above, according to the invention, a tangential flow type cyclone is provided in the transfer path, and a spiral-shaped resin descending toward the center of the cyclone is provided in the transport path of the pellet-shaped resin formed in the cyclone. Since the first guide vane and the second guide vane in the vertical direction located above the first guide vane are exposed, it is possible to ensure that relatively light substances such as powder or strings generated in the transfer path are removed from the pellet-shaped resin. It has the effect of being able to separate the two.
