がある。 However, with such conventional products that are simply folded to form pleats, increasing the number of pleats causes adjacent pleats to become extremely close to each other and even closer together due to an increase in area, making it difficult to use. This has the disadvantage that the fluid passage is obstructed and the overefficiency decreases.

It is something to do.

This is further bent in a meandering manner to a certain length along the longitudinal direction of the pleats, and the opposing ridgelines of each bent pleat are held in contact with each other, thereby forming a rhombic or square cross section surrounded by the pleats. This is a filter element formed by forming a large number of spaces.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a state in which a sheet material 1 is folded in parallel to form a large number of peaks 2 and troughs 3. (Conventional products are rolled into a cylindrical shape or used in a plate-like state.) Figure 2 shows the back pleats (crests 2, valleys 3) formed in this way along the longitudinal direction. Although the material of the present invention is formed by sequentially bending and folding the material into a certain length in a meandering manner, it is a perspective view illustrating the folding mode with the ridge lines 2 and 2 of the bent portions slightly separated. Therefore, in the final shape, 2 and 2 are in contact as shown by the arrows. FIG. 3 is a developed view of the same, in which solid line portions 2 and 3a are ridge lines that form peaks when folded as shown in FIG. 2, and broken line portions 3 and 2a are lines that form troughs.
