によつて印字を行うプリンタにおいて、 プラテンとそれに対向させた印字ヘツドよりな
る印字部を挟んで用紙の走行する前後方向にそれ
ぞれメインフイードローラとサブフイードローラ
とよりなる用紙搬送手段を設け、 上記用紙の走行方向手前側の用紙搬送手段の手
前および走行方向奥側の用紙搬送手段の奥側には
用紙を走行させるペーパガイドとペーパガイドア
ツパとよりなる用紙走行経路をそれぞれ設け、 他方の用紙搬送手段と印字ヘツドとの間には用
紙の通過を検知する検知手段を設け、 この用紙搬送手段を挟んで検知手段の反対側に
用紙の走行を停止させる用紙走行停止部材を設け
、 さらに上記両用紙搬送手段の間でプラテンを挟
んで印字ヘツドの反対側にプラテンに沿つてペー
パシユートを設け、 このペーパシユートを上記用紙走行経路に沿つ
て設けた用紙排出経路に連通させたことを特徴と
