Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain loopback test of a voice/signal channel of a remote signal converter easily by remote control by using a test signal as a line signal so as to form a test path for the remote station side. CONSTITUTION:The test command from a test board 1 is read by the software of a processor 2, a time division switch of a network 7 is closed to connect a test trunk 3 and an interface circuit 6. A test start signal is sent to a voice/ signal channel (VF/SIG-CH-A) 10 being a trunk to be tested as a line signal of an interface circuit 6 from a control circuit 5. In the reception of the said test signal, the VF/SIG-CH-A 10 closes a path (a) with the test trunk 9. Thus, the test path (a) is formed to apply the continuity test of the VF/SIG-CH-A 10.
