作モードを制御するプリンタの動作モードの制御方法に
おいて、プリンタ動作入力時に前記ホストコンピュータ
側の入力器によりプリンタの動作モードを選択し、この
選択された動作モードを表示器に表示させるとともに情
報記憶・再生媒体にモード情報として記憶させ、同時に
プリンタ側に制御コードとして記憶させ、その後プリン
タ動作命令時にホストコンピュータによりディスクに記
憶されたモード情報を制御コードとしてプリンタ側に送
り、プリンタを既に記憶している同一の制御コードに従
つて動作させることを特徴とするプリンタの動作モード
の制御方法。 2)各種情報を入力する入力器と、入力された情報を表
示する表示器と、情報の記憶・再生自在な情報記憶・再
生媒体とを備えたホストコンピュータと、このホストコ
ンピュータによつて動作を制御されるプリンタと有する
プリンタの動作モードの制御装置において、前記ホスト
コンピュータは、プリンタ動作入力時に入力器によって
選択されたプリンタの動作モードを、一担表示器に表示
させるとともに情報記憶・再生媒体にモード情報として
記憶させ、同時にプリンタに制御コードとして送給し、
その後のプリンタ動作命令時に情報記憶・再生媒体に記
憶されているモード情報を制御コードしてプリンタに送
給させる制御部を有しており、前記プリンタは、プリン
タ動作入力時に送給されて来る制御コードを記憶し、プ
リンタ動作命令時に送給されて来る制御コードを受けて
既に記憶している同一の制御コードによってプリンタを
動作させるプログラムRAMを有することを特徴とする
プリンタの動作モードの制御装置。
