本発明は嗜好品としての変性油に関し、特に、短時間で
誰でも容易に楽しむことのできるウィスキーに類似した

ール、スピリット、焼酎、香味料、色素などを使用した
酒類で、その香味、色沢等がウィスキーに類似したもの

(発明が解決しようとする問題点)
一方、近年では、安価でくせがなく、容易に好みの味を
つけられる焼酎がブームとなり、焼酎の楽しみ方が大き
な課題となるに至った。このような傾向の中で、本発明
者は、安(而な焼酎を高価なウィスキー類似の酒類に変
性すべく、オークの辺材で樽を作製しこの樽の中に焼酎
を入れた所、辺材から焼酎の中に溶けだすものが多く、
そのため樽に隙間が生じ、焼酎を貯溜しておくことがで
き難い事、及び焼酎の方は、容易に琥珀色に着色し、ウ
ィスキーの如き色調を呈するのみならず、味や香りもウ

本発明の上記の諸口的は、エタノール又は主としてエタ
ノールを含有する水溶液にオーク材を投入する事を特徴

本発明においては、「エタノールを含有する水溶液」か
ら、ウィスキーやブランデー等の、既に完成された高級
な酒類を除外するものではないが、本来独自の味にとぼ
しいアルコール類をウィスキー類似の酒類に変性すると
いう目的からすれば、単なるエタノール水溶液又は安価
な焼酎等を使用することが好ましく、特に穀類を発酵さ
せ蒸留して製造した焼酎を使用した場合には、−Nウィ

はアフリカから輸入されている。我国におけるカシ、マ
テバシイも同圧であり、本願明細書のオーク材は、これ

生えるのを防止することができる。乾燥しすぎるとアル

ホワイトオークの辺材を、2.4cm角に製材した後、
鉋で2.2cm角に加工し、長さ16cmに切断し、次
いで水洗した後70℃で辺材中の水分を約20重量%と
なる迄乾燥させた。このようにして得られたホワイトオ
ークの辺材小片10本を、約51の広口ガラスピンに入
れたアルコール分35%の果実酒用焼酎1.81の中に
