Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve drying performancely eliminating dew condensation in a preheat drying process by a method wherein a controller is provided to sequentially control washing, rinsing and drying and so arranged to operate a blowing means for a fixed time length after a heating/rinsing process by actuating a circulation means and a heating means and to keep the heating means from being operated in a drying process. CONSTITUTION: A microcomputer 7 operates a washing pump 3 by a washing pump motor drive means 11 in a heating/rinsing process as the final rinsing process after cleaning while electrically energizing a heater 4 by a heater electric energization means 10 so that the temperature of water in a washing tank 2 rises to raise the temperature of dishes. After the heating/rinsing process, the microcomputer 7 discharges water by a drain pump motor drive means 14. If this operation is left alone, remaining heat in the dishes dries the dishes by themselves. Then, the microcomputer 7 operates a fan motor drive means 12 by a fixed time to run a fan motor 5. Outside air is sent into the washing tank 2 to discharge steam inside the washing tank 2 at an exhaust port 1. This eliminates dew condensation of the steam during the drying by the remaining heat eventually causing dew to adhere to the dishes.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Conventional dishwashers are equipped with a heated rinsing step at the end of the rinsing step in which the dishwasher is rinsed while energizing a heater, and then enters a drying step. There are two methods for this drying step. In other words, one is the strong heating drying method, which heats the washing tank by energizing the heater, and the other is the residual heat drying method, which uses the residual heat of the dishes at the end of the heating rinsing process and leaves the dishes as they are without energizing the heater. It is a method. This residual heat drying method has a great effect on saving power consumption because no electricity is applied to the heater during the drying process, and is effective for household dishwashers.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention In such conventional dishwashers, when performing residual heat drying, water vapor generated by heated rinsing fills the washing tank. There were problems in that condensation caused water droplets to remain on the tableware, and that the drying process had a poor quality.

Next, the structure of the control installation of the dishwasher in this embodiment will be explained with reference to FIG. That is, 7 is a microcomputer that sequentially controls washing, rinsing, and drying by outputting signals to control the load based on various input signals, and 8 inputs information such as selecting, starting, and stopping programs to be run to the microcomputer 7. 9 is a display means for displaying the program to be operated, etc. Reference numeral 1o indicates a heater energizing means for controlling the energization of the heater 4 according to signals from the microcomputer 7; 11 indicates a washing pump motor drive means for controlling the operation of the washing pump 3 according to signals from the microcomputer 7; and 12 indicates an operation for the fan motor 5. A fan motor driving means is controlled by a signal from the microcomputer 7; 13 is a water supply valve driving means for controlling a water supply valve that supplies water to the cleaning tank 2 by a signal from the microcomputer 7; This is a drainage pump motor driving means that controls the drainage pump that drains water to the outside using signals from the microcomputer 7.

In the above-described configuration, the microcomputer 7 operates the cleaning pump 3 by the cleaning pump motor driving means 11 in the heating rinsing process which is the final rinsing process after cleaning, and also operates the cleaning pump 3 by the heater energizing means 10.
Clean to energize! The temperature of the water in step 2 rises, and the temperature of the tableware also rises accordingly. After the heating and rinsing step, the microcomputer 7 drains the water using the drain pump motor drive means 14, and if left as is, the residual heat remaining in the dishes can be used to dry the dishes. At this time, the microcomputer 7 operates the fan motor driving means 12 for a certain period of time to drive the fan motor 6, send outside air into the cleaning tank M2, and discharge water vapor inside the cleaning tank 2 from the exhaust port 1. Therefore, water vapor is prevented from condensing and adhering to the tableware during this residual heat drying. The operation of the fan motor 6 at this time is not limited to continuous air blowing for a certain period of time, and may be intermittent air blowing.

More than the effects of the invention, as is clear from the examples, according to the present invention, in the residual heat drying after the heated rinsing process, the water vapor in the washing tank is discharged, so that the water vapor does not condense on the dishes left in the washing tank. Drying performance can be improved without water droplets adhering.
