Water is extracted by linear pressure, but in recent years, instead of the lower press roll, a shoe with a slightly concave upper surface has been installed, and the gently curved surface of the shoe comes into surface contact with the press roll, and wet paper passes between the two. An endless pressure belt driven by the endless felt is placed below the endless felt, and the shoe pushes up the pressure belt, which presses the endless felt against the press roll to create a wide nip. A surface pressure nip press device has been developed that improves the water squeezing effect by forming a region and using surface pressure between the press roll and the shoe. The present invention relates to a pressure belt used in such a surface pressure nip press device.

発生する場合が応々あるなどの問題点があつた。“Problem that the invention aims to solve” Conventional pressure belts with a synthetic resin layer on one side are used with the exposed base fabric facing the endless felt side, but they cannot be used at high speeds and under high pressure. Severe friction occurs with the felt, and the chemicals in the paper stock have a chemical effect with the help of frictional heat, resulting in severe wear and chemical deterioration of the monofilament, shortening the belt's lifespan, and The water squeezing performance is insufficient because there is less space to receive the water squeezed out from the paper. On the other hand, a pressure belt with a synthetic resin layer on both sides has a smooth synthetic resin layer on the felt side, making it resistant to abrasion. Although the paper has good properties, it has problems such as poor water squeezing performance because there is no space to receive the water squeezed from the wet paper, and defects such as paper breakage sometimes occur.

面に亘り均一に分布していることが肝要である。"Structure of the invention""Means for solving the problems" In order to solve the above problems, we considered the following structure. The explanation will be based on the drawings. The pressure belt of the present invention has a base fabric 4 woven with warps 2 and wefts 3 made of filaments of synthetic fibers, and has a synthetic resin layer 5 with high hardness on both sides, and a large number of synthetic resin layers 5 are formed on one side over the entire surface. A small hole 6 is bored. The base fabric is made of synthetic fibers such as monofilament or multifilament, woven into an end-like shape, and then joined at both ends to become an endless-like fabric. The material used for the base fabric is polyamide, polyester, or the like. The synthetic resin on both sides has high hardness and JIS hardness of 90 to 95.
A synthetic resin layer is formed by coating, drying and curing. The material is polyurethane resin, ABS resin, etc., and polyurethane resin is particularly preferred because of its good elasticity and abrasion resistance. The large number of small holes drilled on one side of the synthetic resin layer of the pressure belt have a diameter of 2 to 10 mm and a depth of 1 to 8 mm, and may be arranged or randomly arranged, but may be formed all over the surface. It is important that it is evenly distributed over the entire range.

It merges with the endless felt carrying the wet paper 12 in the region sandwiched between the press roll 11 and the pressure shoe. When two sheets of endless felt are used, the wet paper is sandwiched between the sheets of endless felt. When the pressure shoe pushes up the pressure belt and presses the wet paper paper against the press roll together with the endless felt that is in close contact with it and applies strong pressure, the water squeezed from the wet paper passes through the endless felt and onto the pressure belt. A part of it flows down the surface and flows out, but most of it is stored in a large number of small holes and, after passing through the nip part, is released by a circular force when the pressure belt is reversed by the guide roll 9.

The pressure belt of this invention has many small holes drilled in the synthetic resin layer on one side, and since the synthetic resin has high hardness, the edges of the small holes do not collapse even when subjected to strong pressure, and the diameter narrows. Water can be contained very easily, and then released by centripetal force, resulting in excellent water squeezing properties. Due to the synergistic action of the layers, it has various effects such as excellent wear resistance, very high strength, and good dimensional stability.
