Abstract

PURPOSE:To lighten a work to classify received documents for destination categories by dividing recording papers and automatically storing them into stackers for the destination categories set beforehand by means of the symbols of the received recording papers. CONSTITUTION:A reception recording part 2 supplies the recording paper to receive picture information from a line 1c to a substacker 3, a recognizing part 4 identifies an identifying symbol 1b of the recording paper of the substacker 3 by using, for example, an optical mark reader, and the part 4 outputs the symbol in making it into the classifying signal of plural divisions set beforehand. A sorter part stores the recording paper into one of stackers 5a-5c designated by the classifying signal from the recognizing part 4. In such a way, the recognizing part 4 reads the symbol 1b of the recording paper received by the reception recording part 2, the part 4 outputs the classifying signal of plural divisions set beforehand, a sorter part 5 divides the recording papers for the destination categories, and the papers can be stored into the stacker designated by the classifying signal.

Description

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [Field of Industrial Application] The present invention relates to a facsimile receiver, and more particularly to a facsimile receiver that outputs a recording sheet that receives transmitted image information.

[Conventional technology]

A facsimile receiver conforming to G1 to G3 standards of CCITT (Consultative Committee for International Telegraph and Telephone) connects to a telephone line and receives image information from transmitters of a plurality of destinations.

A conventional facsimile receiver stores recording sheets that have received image information from a plurality of senders in one stacker. In particular, these days, since automatic reception is used, a large number of recording papers that have received documents from different destinations are stacked on a stacker.

[Problem that the invention seeks to solve]

When the conventional facsimile receiver mentioned above is used for automatic reception and shared by multiple departments, a large number of paper sheets that have received documents from different destinations are stacked up in the stacker, so the operator has to sort the received documents for each destination department. There is a problem that requires troublesome and time-consuming classification work.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a facsimile receiver that is capable of sorting paper sheets that have received documents by destination department and storing them in a stacker.

[Means for solving problems]

The facsimile receiver of the present invention includes a recognition unit that outputs symbols read at predetermined positions on recording paper received and output by a reception recording unit as classification signals of a plurality of preset categories, and and a sorter section for storing the items in designated stackers.

FIG. 1 is a block diagram of one embodiment of the present invention.

The facsimile transmitter 1 transmits the identification symbol 1b written at a predetermined position on the transmission document 1a to the line IC together with the read image information. The identification symbol 1b is set in advance for each destination of the transmitted document 1a.

The receiver green unit 2 supplies the recording paper, which has received the image information from the line IC, to the sub-stacker 3.

The recognition unit 4 identifies the identification mark 1b of the recording paper in the sub-stacker 3 using, for example, an optical mark reading device and outputs it as a classification signal for a plurality of preset categories.

The sorter section stores the recording sheets in one of the stackers 5a to 5C designated by the classification signal from the recognition section 4.

In this way, the recognition unit 4 reads the symbol 1b of the recording paper received by the reception recording unit 2, outputs a preset classification signal for a plurality of classifications, and the sorter unit 5 places the recording paper into the stacker specified by the classification signal. It can be stored separately for each destination department.

〔Effect of the invention〕

As explained above, the present invention allows a handler to sort received documents into stackers for each destination department and automatically store them in stackers preset for each destination department based on the symbol of the received document. This has the effect of reducing the work required to classify the data.
