Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a hair-treating agent which give hair excellent smoothness and gloss and protects hair from the heat of the drier and brushing, by using dimethylsilicone gum, silicone oil, volatile silicone oil at a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:The subject hair-treating agent is composed of (A) a dimethylsilicone gum of formula I (R<1>, R<2> are methyl, hydroxyl; n is 4,000-9,000), (B) a silicone oil of formula II (n is 30-300), and (C) a volatile silicone oil of formula III (n is 3-7) where the weight ratio of B/A is 1/3-3/1, preferably 1/2-2/1. The subject treating agent is preferably made an anhydtous system from the view point of stability.
