背面ローラの両端部に、該背面ローラの周面より
も径の大きいローラをそれぞれ設け、これらのロ
ーラの周面を前記透明板に当接させることによつ
て、該透明板と前記背面ローラの周面との間に、
常時所要の間隙を確保するようにしたことを特徴
とする読取装置。 (2) 透明板と軸を介して回動可能に配設された
背面ローラの周面との間に原稿を挟装させるとと
もに、前記透明板を介して前記原稿の読取面に光
源の光を照射させ、該原稿からの反射光を読取セ

周面との間に、常時所要の間隙を確保するように
