(従来の技術)
シャープペンシルのチャックの外周部に装着される締め

って芯の繰り出し量のばらつきがひどくなる欠点があっ
た。又、締め具の接触点近傍のアールが大きいと、チャ
ックに対する締め付は力が弱くなって、締め具に対して
チャックが没入しやすくなるという弊もあった。そこで
接触点近傍のアールが小さく且つ均一な締め具が強く要
望されている。ところで、金JAMの締め具の開口縁に
アールを付ける加工法としては切削加工と塑性加工があ
るが、切削加工によれば困難性が大きく又コスト高にな
るので、一般にダイスとパンチを利用し、ダイスの縁の
丸みに倣って材料を変形させる塑性加工が採用されてい
る。そして製品(締め具)のアールを小さくするには当
然ダイスの縁のグイラジアスを小さくする必要があるが
、ダイスのグイラジアスを小さくすると材料が縁に沿っ
てスムーズに流れにくく、材料が削られてパウダーが発
生するなどして寸法が不安定となり、又、ダイスの負担

形成することは従来極めて困難な問題であった。そこで

図面に基づき本発明の実施例を以下に詳説する。先ず本
願発明の工程の前工程として絞り成形を行なう。この工

ーの発生を防ぐ。又、パンチによシしときをかけて締め
具の内径精度を出しておく。この前工程の絞シ成形完了
時の締め具の形状は第3図に示すように、締め具<1)
のチャックに対する接触位置近傍、即ち締め具11)の
前端開口縁のアール部(2)の半径が比較的大きい。次
に本願発明の工程を実施する。即ち、第1図に示すよう
に、上面の開口縁に沿って円周状に突部(3)を設けた
ダイス(4)と、締め具(1)の内部に挿入してその外
周面を締め具(1)の内周面に密着させるテーパ状凸部
(5)及び締め具(1)のフランジ部(6)の表面に密
着するフラット部(力を有するパンチ(8)とによって
、締めL(1)に対しプレス加工を施す。この場合、ダ
イス(4)の突部(3)は締め具(1)のアール部(2
)の裏面位置のフランジ部(6)の付根部に当接するよ

って規制されるので、これらの部位に余肉が逃げること

つきがあってもチャックに対する締め具の接触点の位置
変化は小さいので芯の繰シ出し歓のばらつきを僅少に抑
えることができる。又、チャックに対する締め具の接触
点の近傍のアールが小さくなることによシ締め付は力が
増大するので、締め具に対するチャックの没入も抑制す
