子と該メモリカートリツジが装着されるコネクタ
の第２の端子とが接続されたことを検出する検出
手段と、該検出手段によつてメモリカートリツジ
の装着が検出されると該メモリカートリツジと装
置本体との信号の授受を可能にする手段とを備え
た装置に使用するメモリカートリツジ若しくは前
記各手段を備えメモリカートリツジに於いて、 前記第１、第２の端子を除くメモリカートリツ
ジ及びコネクタの他の端子間が接続された後、更
にメモリカートリツジをコネクタに挿入した位置
で前記第１の端子と第２の端子とが接続されるよ
うに該第１の端子を形成したことを特徴とするメ
モリカートリツジ。 (2) メモリカートリツジがコネクタに装着され
たことを検出する検出手段と、該検出手段によつ
てメモリカートリツジの装着が検出されると該メ
モリカートリツジと装置本体との信号の授受を可
能にする手段とを備えたメモリカートリツジを使
用すう装置において、 前記検出手段は、少なくともメモリカートリツ
ジ及びコネクタのデータの授受を行う端子間が接
続された後、更にメモリカートリツジをコネクタ
に挿入した位置で該メモリカートリツジの装着を
検出することを特徴とするメモリカートリツジを
