定の基準値と比較することにより撮像された明暗
縞模様を2値信号の明暗縞模様とする2値化手段
と、 該2値信号の明暗縞模様の明部又は暗部を膨脹
処理した後に収縮処理、あるいは収縮処理した後
に膨脹処理して基準縞模様を生成する膨脹・収縮
手段と、 該生成された基準縞模様と上記2値化手段によ
り得られた2値信号の明暗縞模様とを比較して上
記被検査物の塗膜平滑度を判定する平滑度判定手
段と、 を備えたことを特徴とする塗膜平滑度自動検査装
