酸化炭素を介して上記全炭素と無機炭素とをそれ
ぞれ求め、両者の差から有機炭素を測定する燃焼
式の有機炭素測定装置において、該装置の燃焼炉
の出口流路に燃焼生成物及び水蒸気を捕獲する捕
集部を設け、該捕集部には鉄、ニツケルなどの遷
移金属又はこれらの合金を充填し、上記燃焼生成
物及び水蒸気を該充填物に接触すべく流通させて
塩素成分を除去する塩素成分除去器を設けたこと
