ウジングの内側にある被シール部材に密封状態で
係合する弾性シール部を有している弾性材料の本
体を備えるとともに、外周面がハウジングの上記
内周面に嵌合するよう構成されているシール部材
において、上記本体が、側方へ突出して径方向外
方へ傾斜して延びるサイドリツプを有し、シール
部材がハウジングに装着されたときに上記サイド
リツプがハウジングの上記段面とシール部材の、
該段面に隣接する側の側面との間に緊密に締付け
られる構成になつていることを特徴とするシール
